It was the first (and best!) operating system I ever used. The computer I have now has the Windows ME operating system, and I also have a computer with Windows XP. Although they are good, they can't compare to the old 95. Maybe it's just the nostalgia talking to me, but I'd really love to have myself a Windows 95 again.

wow. brings back memories. i still remember that startup sound. i use a vista right now, but when i move out for college, my dad is letting me take the xp, which is great, cuz i like that system better. i remember playing all sorts of games on 95 that don't work on the newer systems anymore. cheers to nostalgia!

Easy. First, I downloaded the sound somewhere on the Internet. I can't remember. Then, I set it myself. For Windows Vista and below, you must go to the control panel and to the sound options. For Windows 7, right-click on the Desktop, click on Customize and click on Sounds. You can change the sounds for a lot of events, like the startup.
