Bonjour, vous aimez les sixties ? écoutez et podcastez mon émission "le super son des 60's" sur le site de plumfm. You like the 60's ? please, listen and podcast my broadcast "le super son des 60's", connect to "plumfm". Salut et faites gaffe au rock and roll.
Powerful...and unnerving. Randy Newman's bitterly ironic lyrics put to the haunting images from "Hotel Rwanda". Claudine's treatment of this song adds a punch in the gut.
Who cares who she offed? She has a beautiful ethereal voice. It's not as if Hitler was singing. Just enjoy the music and be thankful that you don't live in Rwanda.
Claudine Longet murdered Spidey. She will always be a murderer in my mind. Spidey was shot in the back for God's sake. Oh yeah I forget...I always point a loaded gun at my wifes back when she is bending over the sink and say...honey is this how you shoot a gun? click, click, click boom. ooooops sorry honey, I knew it was loaded, and you are a fire arms expert, so I sure you did not mind me pulling the trigger in your back.
Who told you he was shot in the back? Must be the same person that said, and I quote, "a jury acquitted" her. It was not a trial by jury. It was a judge only and it took him less than an hour to make the decision. Of course, things may have changed somewhat if the body didn't get up and walk away less than an hour after the police arrived. Get over it.
Out of all the pieces of music, why choose that of a murderess? Read about the evidence- nothing accidental about it. So creepy to hear her while watching these scenes.
Claudine Longet composed the song I think it is going to rain today. Spidey is not dead...it would just take too much money and court costs and the Claudine Longet that went to jail was not the same person. Life is confusing isn't it?
You are showing your true colours & in your mind everyone must agree with you and that must be the whole world. The person charged with the crime was unconscious during the trial with blood coming from nose, ears and rectum. A cover did the trial for her. And Spidey, well, he may or may not have been caught trying to board a plane. And it just cost too much money for retrials and retrails and only lawyers get rich. Did u ever look at the photos of all the Claudines during the trial?
Did you notice that the violinist hung back? This caused a climax in the middle, "scarecrows dressed in their latest styles", then, he tappered it off, picked it up occassionally and gave a solid ending with the piano player. That was a very modest fellow wasn't he?
One knows when a musician is really gifted and that is when a composer like Claudine Longet number one presents a small group with a new song and the piano player listens and interpets the song which he just heard instinctively so did the violinist. This song was not overdone. It was presented quietly, softly...soothingly...sadly with just the right amount of background notes. This is perfection.
Randy Newman may possibly be a lady but the copy right is in the name of an alias. The studio has the original composition & it was indeed Claudine Longet 1 not to be confused with 2, 3,4 understudies. No. 1 was in Canada when Spidey was said to be shot. No.2 was sent to a hospital out of jail while the trial was in progress. No. 3 stayed in Canada and No. 4 Meredith Baxter was breaking all the dishes in her home. Spidey dated all of them (probably looking for the Pink Panther diamond peut-tre?)

Claudine Longet did not write the song. It was Randy Newman, believe it or not.

i think, we shouldnt be mad at anyone. i think we should remember and keep telling this story, so no one lets a tragedy like this happen again.

Composed or arranged? She certainly didn't write the song. Unless Randy Newman was a French lady who shot someone.
