Holy crap!!! That honestly blew me away. I've never heard jazz pedal steel before. Love the tone. If you're interested, check out my chord/melody of Have You Met Miss Jones. I'm in AZ too.
It is such a pleasure and a treat both to watch those fingers glide across those strings and then to hear that great music fall on appreciative ears. Need I say more? Bestest fan.
Mom, And you asked me where I got my writing talent?!!! I would say definitely from you!!! You have quite a way with words!!!! I believe you are Brian's bestest fan! Love you, Sug
Sug, I kinds liked that one myself! (bestest is the bestest of the restest) right??haha I couldn't write the songs you write, that takes composing talent. I can only write stories, maybe a few simple poems. Love you guys, Mom
This is my own tuning. E13th with only 2 pedals. I play a double necked steel. I developed problems with my legs. It was a blessing in disguise to come up with my own thing. God Bless Brian.
Hi, Lachance, here in France, land of your ancesters, pedal steel players are very rare, people know this instrument only through the country music on TV, so your version of 'giant steps' is unbelieveable especially for us...Anyway I think it is unbelieveable for anybody !
Sean, Thanks so much for watching. I enjoyed your videos also. What kind of steel are you playing? Keep playing for the Lord . That is important! God bless.Brian
Terrific! You should be on the cover of Downbeat.
