Canada could have won gold with the guys that didn`t make it, Lacalvalier, Richards, Carter, Roy, Smyth, Doan, Myers, Letang, Green, St. Louis, Stamkos etc, for 2014 I wouldn`t be surprised to see young guys now on the team like Duchene, Stamkos, Taveres, Skinner, Hall, Eberle, maybe even Nugent Hopkins, but Im pretty sure Fleury is gonna be the main goalie, with a guy like Ward, Mason, even Bernier or Reimer as backup.

@SuperSultan1988 and also there is people that do get paid to play video games, they are called video game testers and the people that make the video games, some hockey players (like me dont get paid at all) but some are skilled enough to get to the next level and get paid to do what they love

@SuperSultan1988 There are people who get paid to watch tv, people who work with continuity, etc, but watching tv is completely different from BEING on TV. Being from Canada, hockey is something that we watch religiously which means high ratings for tv networks(not to mention stadium tickets). Its the exact same thing as actors. They perform on tv and are paid because people want to see it.

Yes they get paid for doing something thats fun and what they love but so do singers, actresses, models, fashion designers, etc, just because its fun doesn't mean its not their job.

even if Nash-Crosby-Iginla dont get it done(which i dont doubt) offensively, you the most dominant line in the NHL in Heater-Joe and Marleau, the leadin point scorer, and 2 wingers on pace for 50 goals.

and if THAT DOESNT WORK, you got the Staal-Getzlaf-Perry line, all 6'4, insanely skilled, will never lose puck battles or possesion, physical etc

and if THAT DOESNT WORK? pft just reunite the Heatley-Getzlaf-Nash line for instant dominance from 2 years ago, one of the most dominant lines alltim

you know what i think will make a real difference ? The heatley-thorns-marleau line. Why ? Because Iginla crosby nash is an *omg* line, but sometimes, 3 practices just isnt enough to understand where the other player is going to be.. thats why having the shark line, who will have played 60 games and PPs together, forrr sureee will be ready for these games, and thats gonna make a huggee difference ; malkin, Ov, and kovy are all great. but are they great on the same line ? hmmm :P

when you have Bertuzzi, Draper, Doan, Mccabe, Redden (sigh) you deserve to finish 7th at the olympics, those fuckers were all chosen over 100 point scorers like Staal and Sidney Crosby, there was no transition game up the ice, no quick outlet passes, thus canada selecting Boyle, Doughty and Niedermayer for there tremendous break out passes and defensive play.

4th line of Draper-Doan-Bertuzzi the stone hands line or Bergeron-Richards-Morrow (all 30 goal scorers) and Toews as the 13th? hmm
