  • I like how you set your cat up for success :o))

  • what a lovely fluffy cat! thumbs up

  • Here are a couple of Ideas for getting your cat to Retrieve. First of all, the earlier you start in life the more repetitive it is for them. They will learn much faster and eventually it becomes second nature to them. If you are working with an older cat. Try going back and forth with different items to see what items they like more than others. Cats are usually able to pick this up, and will learn what you want them to learn much faster. Don't give them so many treats. Use the treats to teach.

  • The thing with cats it that they can not know its you who train them, or else they wont be trained :P They have to think it is they who train you, they are not as loyal as a dog :) Great job YoYoPoodle!! :) Beautiful cat btw =)

  • Falling100, that is how clicker training works - first you reward for any little step in the right direction, and slowly 'shape' the behavior by waiting for closer approximations of your ultimate goal. This video was the 2nd time he'd ever seen the object, and he had never previously learned to focus on any item (on command) before :)

  • So all the cat has to do is look at something, and you give it a treat? Who has who trained, eh?
