Man, you guys are right, Sesame street was so much better back in the day. I was born in 1990 And had a couple vhses that had this song on it, along with a shit load others that are in my favorites right now. And I agree with everyone here. Elmo destroyed the amazingness that Sesame Street used to be. I personally Stopped watching when The Cookie monster started eating oatmeal cookies...But I still love the Count, and Lambaba WOO

1) I was born in 1995, and this is one of my favorite segments of Sesame Street. So I've seen a lot of classic segments

2) Elmo never ruined Sesame Street. What I hate is that they replaced a bunch of the old monsters with newer crappy monsters. Frazzle used to be my favorite monster, and I loved the two headed monster. I haven't seen them on Sesame Street for years. Now they have a stupid fairy thing.

But the only thing I had known as a child was a video with a kind of a "best of" of the classic Sesame Street, like the "fishy fishy" episode, or some things like that which wasn't too much, ..

I remember being in second grade (and I was born before 1995) and Elmo's World was pretty new... I asked if anyone liked Sesame Street and they said, "No, Elmo's World is the only part worth watching." So I think there's a kid appeal that Elmo has that Adults don't get.

And besides, it looks like the new producer is laying off on the Elmo Overload.
