its difficult to compare cars and bikes, some cars are faster in corner (4WD sports car) because of their 4 legged nature. but i doubt any normal car can beat a bike unlesss he/she is a learner.

It seems like it, but a bike with rider is 200kg with 220hp, and a formula car is 900hp with 600kg combined weight.
If they still had 2-strokes, upped the displacement to 1000cc, they'd have 260bhp+ bikes that would really beat formulas :)

F3000 changed its name to GP2 in 2004. F3000 cars look simular to F1, except they aren't as advanced, and 'only' have approx 470 bhp.

actually it was 2005 f3000 was turned into gp2 which nico rosberg went on to win. and the gp2 cars have 580bhp, the f3000 cars had about 480bhp. lol.
