  • That was very funny.

  • is that Barny's gay brother?

  • Am I wrong for laughing at this?

  • @whitemocha89 No,you are not wrong for laughing at this. It's very

funny! Some people are just 2 uptight, and they don't have any sense of

    humor at all.

  • ........

  • this is pretty distasteful. That is all.

  • omg this is so funny..lmao

  • This video is great!!! Essence magazine brought me here!!! as a black woman, I love it!

  • @SimplyMeeMee Please remove the stick from your ass and lighten up. Damn, even MLK had a sense of humor.

  • Malcolm is the father of your youngest child... "PRICELESS"

  • LOL

  • Wayne Brady ruined it for me.

  • I'm not so uptight that I can't find the humor in this video! I loved it.

  • lmaoooooooo

  • I love it!

  • genius!

  • Of course the civil rights movement was not a JOKE, and in NO way are these ladies saying it was. We all need to remember that everyone involved in the civil rights movement were people and like us they too had a sense of humor. As Black people we tend to put our leaders and hero's up on pedestals and thus making them, and their status, more than human - this allows some to think those heights are no longer obtainable. They laughed, we can laugh and we all can achieve.

  • That part when Rosa didnt want to give up that seat had me in Tears laughing! Halarious

  • I am begging you beautiful ladies to make an entire season of this...you guys are a riot! big up!!

  • This is disrespectful :/

  • *rolls eyes* some of yall are so ridiculously DEEP.

  • Disrespectful

    Shameful

    Pathetic

Can't expect much else from a black sodomite who hates himself.

I wonder how the 'we need to laugh' crowd would feel about somewhat making fun of their father who was murdered?

I guess this is the thanks our ancestors get for dying for this coon to have the ability to get rich off their murders.

Now where is the Jewish holocaust comedy video?

  • @SimplyMeeMee - You know you lauged a little ;) Marilyn Monroe was funny...ol' girl wrote a song for her and she still didnt get it right! LOL

  • it would be cool to see what the 'real' ladies have to say about this video. I bet you $1,000 they would laugh. Yes, what their husbands did were of great civil importance, but im sure these ladies got fed up with things and dealt with day-to-day drama just as any women would today :)

  • @SimplyMeeMee I feel like the ability to laugh at things like this makes it possible for us to move on as a country. Yes, the movement was both amazing and honorable. But we can't keep looking at the past going, "oh you broke my terracotta pot i want reparations" let's move on and look towards the future.

  • This is hilarious!

  • That maya angelou impersonation was hilarious. rosa parks taking a nip...priceless.

  • "Malcolm X is the father of your youngest child."

    "BITCH!"

Aw man, as a comedian I'm real disappointed in myself I didnt think of this first! This is hilarious!

  • @SimplyMeeMee dont be a downer. no one is denying the impact that these women made, but no ones gonna think that you hate the civil rights movement for laughing at a video like this. its a satire/parody. the women weren't actually like this ya know

  • I fucking love this video!!!!!!!

  • This was heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelarious! Good job!

  • OMG ... *dead* ... This is too dang funny.

  • malcolm x is the father lol 2:00

rosa just don't know what to do

    maya can't stop doing poetry

    needs a sequel

  • lol sis shabazz quote: You don't have to refuse to give up your seat everywhere we go.

  • LOL @ the video, LOL @ the responses. LOL....

  • (2) If our Civil Fathers and Mothers could watch this today, I bet they would. And I bet not B.E.T. (BET) that they would love it. But unfortantely that can't, so I aint about to press it. Just know that I feel that I am looking at the followers who Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Ghandi, Mandala, Steve Biko and the myriads of generals to self-consciousness despised. I will exit on this last tag - "Well...If you think the front of the bus is too bumpy," #GET IN THE BACK

  • It is about time that we found a creative way to honor our Civil Rights Leaders. It makes them interesting tenfold than noting discolored biographies every February, in addition, gives us other angles of aspect to them individually. Present times wont change the HONOR of these women and men who fought for ours, that blame goes to the people who wish to understate Civil Rights names like a transmitted STD. Are my people upset about TV? Again? Check out BET? Youre watching it now? Oh..

    #STFU

  • I want to like these ladies and support, but their comedy is super weak. It's just poorly written and corny. I looked at some of the other videos and well... at least the Zorbot thing was somewhat unique. You have the internet, you can come up with a better robot costume than that.

I want y'all to be so funny, but it's just not working.

  • SHIT IT'S WAYNE BRADY SON!!

  • This is coonery and it's sad. It's not even funny... just plain disrespectful. Who is responsible for this video? They need to learn what real satire is.

  • Why we as a race of people have to be so damn serious about EVERYTHING!!! I suppose Malcolm X, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Nelson Mandela never had a sense of humor! I suppose we have to walk around an oppressed downtrodden race forever. I am a black woman born and raised and living in the south. My grandmother was a part of the civil rights movement and found this funny. What does that say? Yes we all know the seriousness of the movement.Yes we all know what sacrifices were made.Laugh sometime!

  • LIGHTEN UP!! OMG

  • I'm appalled and very surprised that Wayne Brady would lend his talents to this kind of Buffoonery. Always count on uninformed Blacks to make a mockery out of the very thing that allowed you to be who and what you are today. Not even remotely funny!! And to you idiots writing that it's funny you serve no purpose but to further demonstrate and exacerbate how dumbed down you've become. Neither Civil or Slavery is a laughing matter. Jews don't joke about the Holocaust and neither should Blacks.

  • Wait, is that Michelle-Joan Papillon? ROTFL

  • Don't get tickled... dont do it...

  • LMAO! Loved the old red phone passed around in the Beemer.

  • lmbo! Rosa at 3:54! HILLARIOUS

  • 26 people forgot to take their laughing pill this morning.

  • Winnie Mandela is a murderer.

  • As a black woman I find it hilarious Its just comedy people

  • Fun haters, get over yourselves!! This was a satirical look at a "reality" show that is stupid in and of itself! Get a life! It was funny as hell!!

  • ladies this was hilarious. kudos!!!

  • Tardy for the Rally #dead LOOL

  • Spike Lee's "Bamboozled" was artistic satire; this skit is a poorly-conceived, insulting minstrel show! These women were no reality show fame-mongers and deserve better than to have their historic legacies debased by this crude, sorry excuse for humor. This caters to the lowest common denominator of mass stupidity and tasteless nonsense. Stop the "cooning" and use your brains to devise something both funny and meaningful--which this crap sho' ain't!

  • Bravo! The satire was hilarious, intelligent, and unique. ***1/2.

  • Why do the fun suckers have to come in and always SUCK the fun funny out of everything? This was meant to be a satire and it's done with taste. If you don't like it, don't view it.

  • is this suppose to be funny? It is not.

  • you old people crack me up! remember who raised our disgrace of a generation!

  • Comment removed

  • This is hilarious!!! But of course people don't realize that because they have a stick stuck up their butts. Laugh sometimes! Its good for your health!!!

  • SARCASTIC!!!

  • lmao this was good!

  • This is an absolute disgrace to make a mockery of the men and women involved in the civil rights movement. You Aunt Jemimas and Uncle Remuses involved in this travesty should be ashamed of yourselves! The KKK wouldn't produce anything as distasteful as this piece of crap.YOU DAMN SELLOUTS!!

There is nothing funny about the indignities, violence and death that these civil rights icons endured! Shame on you idiot young people!!

  • PLEASE YOU PPL NEED TO GET THE STICK OUT YA AZZ... IT'S A JOKE!!! LAUGH FOR GOD SAKE

  • this ish is so funny

  • Learn to LAUGH people...RELAX...WOO SAH!

  • Um...it's a little uncomfortable for me I have to admit. I understand what they were trying to do, but as art goes, no one is "obliged" to enjoy it. It's art. So if someone is crying over the fact that everyone doesn't enjoy it then they need to realize that art is SUBJECTIVE, open to interpretation and rests on opinion. Some parts were funny but...still uncomfortable. It's complex like that.

  • Nefetari Spencer (Betty Shabazz) is so beautiful.

  • I do give props to the ladies and gentlemen in this.It does showcase their talents But why choose the Civil Rights era? Dream Girls is supposedly about Diana Ross and the Supremes .The Five Heartbeats is said to be based on the lives of the guys who make up The Temptations .So why not perhaps since it is BHM why not opt to do a funny skit on black stars past and present mingling at a party? Why not maybe show how stars from the 20's and 30's would react to meeting maybe Nikki Minag or Diddy lol

  • @sexibones101 Good idea but none of that is revelant point of the matter is this was funny as hell.

  • Really? This is what comedy is nowadays? Using great Black women and caricaturizing them into the same tired stereotypes that have little if any historical value to them? Putting these great women and their accomplishments (both Maya Angelou and Betty Shabazz have doctorates by the way) in the same category as a second rate television show and Marilyn Monroe? I mean really?

I am all for good comedy, but this is not it.

  • @Kalaundrea STFU and take a chill pill, Betty Shabazz and Maya Angelo are not so special where they are exempt from critque or humor. There are plenty people with doctrate degree's and have been made fun of, Mad TV and Dave Chappelle shows also Paul Mooney has done previous shows based on Oprah (who is also well accomplished) and Condellezza Rice (another powerful accomplished black woman) were you outraged then?

  • @Kalaundrea Girl shut up I can't stand when people make everything so damn serious. Take a moment and laugh enjoy life before its too late.

  • It was amusing. Hardly offensive imo

  • everybody who laughed when madea said 'get off the bus rosa!' and who are leaving comments now that this insensitive and inappropriate please shut the hell up.

chris rock, tyle perry, dave chappelle ahve all made COMEDY out of prominent people from black history and id be willing to bet money yall laughed then. relax.

  • Some things should just be hands off... this is one of them.

  • First Black Pilgrim video was hilarious but the Real Housewives of Civil Rights one was horribly superficial, stereotypical, insensitive and disrespectful. Wayne Brady's presence in anything generally indicates that cooning is involved and this was no exception. I just assumed some callous white men had written it based on the skit's oversimplification of the women of the Civil Rights era. I guess it was just some black women using humor to mitigate their own internalized oppression instead.

  • @debjetart

very well said....I think the creation of this highlights the problem itself...that we are still not taken seriously.

  • Don't be tardy for the rally! lmao!

"I've been bitten in the a*s by dogs, hosed down, had bullets thrown at me, and none of them hurt more than your mouth! Martin! " "Martin---" "Shut the hell up! lmao!!

    This thing is hilarious!

  • I think some one who sees racism in comedy doesn't understand the concept of comedy. You sit her and name all the oppressive situationa and lack of this and that for the black race..but remember this is youtube. Grab a soap box and vocalize it in you're community if its that serious to you. AND I'm african American not a nigga. You idiot.

  • This is tooooooo funny

  • I'm the wife of a King so I always do it big! LOL!

  • DONT BE TARTY TO FOR THE RALLY

  • 3:55 You don't have to refuse to give up your seat everywhere we go!

  • lmfao they are too dumbb

  • This was actually kind of funny. I'm suprised they had the audacity to make a skit surrounding a subject like civil rights. But the way they flipped the concept was pretty cool. In my opinion, it was'nt overtly insensitive, & they did'nt cross the line, so to say. LOL @ the landline phone being used as a carphone.

  • White racists cops continue to murder us, the educational system continues to under-educate us, the economical system continue to white-ball us and your response to someone who's angry about this is to "relax"? Havn't we been ridiculed enough? You hafta be a dumb nigga to laugh at this!

  • Comment removed

  • @Nikeag731 just because you laffin at it doesnt make it laffable.

  • @killskillz - I think the point is, YOU CANT CHANGE THE PAST. If you can laugh about something--youve probably moved on from it, let alone learn something from it.

  • You have to be a RHOA fan to appreciate the humor.

  • Malcolm X with a car phone with a cord LOL, but didn't make me laugh other than that, maybe a better script could of pulled it off. Those who were offended most likely disgrace you all selves in many ways

  • Great Video LOL

  • @ 2:38 LMAOOOOO

  • :))

  • i agree with those who feel that we dont always have to be the angry rwce. Relax sometimes. it was creative and funny. Lets use that angry towarrs more meaningful things instead of the small stuff.

  • For those who are concerned about those without humor. It is known that humor is an indicator of high intelligence. So do not bother refuting their inability to get the humor, they will likewise not understand you either. They are not bright.

  • It's comedy!!! I just don't understand why "my folks" have to be angry and offended about EVERYTHING. That is truly a sad existence.

  • Omg this joint is tooooo funny. I cried during some parts!!!!! Take a joke people, it's just comedy so just relax.

  • Great job ladies :)

  • I thought this was hilarious! I am LMBO. It's okay to laugh. We don't always have to be the angry black people. We are not only intelligent beings but we are funny and creative as hek! Keep up the good work!

  • meh. this wasnt really funny.

  • I dont think it was funny. Not so much that disrespectful, but just not that funny. Wayne Brady must be getting desperate. This is pretty low for him.

  • @caveman357 no, he's not desperate, he's a comedian, and many artists do things that may seem "low" because they are passionate about it or because it's just fun....a good break from what they have to do to pay the bills.

  • @MsZenith7 No he is getting desperate. He didnt even play a good role in this. Plus joking about civil rights is in bad taste. this is pretty wack.

  • Malcolm X drove a BMW??? lol!

  • I find it funny that someone who uploads Boondock episodes on their youtube channel finds THIS offensive. BAHAHAHA. Great job girls keep it coming.

  • I find it funny that someone who uploads Boondock episodes on their youtube channel finds THIS offensive. BAHAHAHA. Great job girls keep it coming.

  • THIS SHIT IS NOT FUNNY IT;S A FUCKING DISGRACE TO THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT AND VERY DISRESPECT TO OUR ANCESTORS

  • O My Wow! This was hilarious!!!!

  • LMAO @ Rosa drinking LEGGO lets get drunk!

  • Why does "Marilyn" sounds like Anna Nicole Smith?

  • @thefloacist Who do you think inspired Anna Nicole Smith?

  • I don't have a "problem" with people having a "problem" with this sketch...it's funny! EDF fo'life!

  • When Rosa sat back in that chair at the end... I DIED!!!!

    No more GOOD! LMAO

  • Well done!
