This film is still strikingly contemporary, though it was made in 1984. Wow, almost a quarter century ago.

well, there is a part in this film where tree trunks (trees that were cut by prisoners) come to tbilisi. And on each tree there is a prisoner's name. And their women come and touch the trees. It's one of the most impressing parts of this movie!
