  • e tu c'hai pure i dollari!!!! WoW

  • The Enlightenment ended the dark ages not the Renaissance. The enlightenment ideas arose out of the French revolution. Eventually the monarchs took it back but ideas like viruses spread. Logic and reason overtook myth and superstition due to the Scientific method and ideas of personal freedom put the axe to serfdom and monarchs.

  • @Mahoivlich

Yes, I see the Freedom of Conscience to have a Personal Opinion (in philosophy cosmology, science, arts) become a NEED in the Renaissance and a RIGHT with the french revolution (constitutional movements and human rights declaration)

  • my attempt at an answer

I admit you might have to explain your questions to me slightly better but so far this is what I gathered from them

  • @CrystalEye736

I really appreciate your attention and interest from PADUA...

I have seen your previous comment and since this job is dedicated to the Italian culture, I will make it clear crystal "ad hoc" for you,

I appreciate your effort with the articulate answer you posted and I will reply for sure ;-)

In fact there is no way to transform the Catholic Heresies into Cathoilic Legacy, despite in Italy is a quite "common sense"... That is index of catholic brainwash, freedoms, ecc

  • I don't want your $100, my answer is just opinion, not fact. But I believe you're thinking of the Renaissance wrong. It wasn't just about Catholics or religion it was about looking at the world and making conclusions based on that, not superstition. For me, and I am largely uneducated on the subject, it was about expression of one's self without the confines of religion or dogma. Like I said, I'm largely uneducated on the 'Renaissance' but I do have an opinion. Maybe that's dangerous though. LOL

  • @Pazma1

I agree with you. At the time of the Renaissance in Italy was the inquisition, not the freedom to discover nature (science). Unfortunately in Italy the situation is still the same it was at the time of the dark ages, and this is the reason I am doing this.

Also Michelangelo was censored while was still alive (Sistine Chapel is a fake), Nevertheless Italy is sold as representative of the Renaissance Culture (see Galileo, Michelangelo), The point is, is it possible nobody ever asked?

  • why the fuck do people even answer to this properly ? xD

  • @shezario

Because people like Culture and Reasoning, and are not all like you

Hahahaha .... thart was not difficoult to answar, can you do any better?

Can you read the tomato tin?

  • @modernitaly can you spell fraud ? ^^ can you do any better then scamming ?

I can see why you would encourage a discussion here and ask for answers, I can not however see why the hell you would promise monetary gain if you where not (pardon me) "full of shit". Prove me wrong and give out the money to all those who answered your question ^^ also clarify what would count as a "right" answer in order to get the promised reward.

If you hold this comment back you declare defeat in this argument ;)

  • @shezario

I am sure no catholic will be able to answer, and the others well understand the situation reading the school books. Michelangelo sistine chapel was censored while Michelangelo was still alive...Galileo was isolated, jailed at home... There is no renaissance culture in the catholic land, because the renaissance was a rebellion against the catholic tradition of abuses, simony, corruption, indulgency... with the godfather above the laws.... like today.

  • Actually, they all have essentially the same answer: The church "evolved", as it often does, and takes credit for/embraces popular change, much like how christmas became a christian tradition out of an amalgation of pagan traditions. It also used its old status as a hated enemy to take credit as "inspiration" for those works that were anti-catholic, and was also able to claim to be "inspiration" for other religiously inspired works.

  • the answer is easy. in 1996 time travelers went back in time. they took with them a computer and couldnt resist to show it off. when they came bac they found they had started a religion. they went back two more times to try and fix things but each time they started a religion. we are living in an altered timeline. originally there was no religion. search computer technology in ancient texts. the truth catholics are trying to hide is that mankind is 900 million years old.

  • you're confusing catholic dogma which kept europe in the dark ages and the private gentiles who rediscovered the lost art and technology of the antiquity -and revived it (much of it had been preserved in arab countries before islam and even during the beginnings of it).

and there is no 'catholic' civilization just as there is no 'islamic civilization'. just countries and cultures dominated and corrupted by them

and it became the pride because A] science works, and B] religion fails. science won

  • answer to all 3 because the great people of the renaissance did their own work and kept their ideas secret. so as not to be executed. however like galileo they still managed to distribute some of their work and thus gradually sway the opinions of an entire nation roughly 300 years it took. forcing the catholic church to change it's behaviours if not it's views. the deaths of the bogias helped too.

  • @ScubaSctimpy

I see you refer to the "masonic" aspects of the renaissance culture, the underground the renaissance found his fundation, with the anciant greek philosophers (pre-christian) and previous civilizations (building). Renaissance means re-birth, and I would say the rebirth of the human nature no church will ever be able to change. Nevertheless the Catholic Church has never changed a single comma, and the Pope proclamed himself infallible in the name of the will of the Catholic-God

  • Im sorry but right now I do not have the time, however I will keep this in my list of topics to address and I will at some point give you an answer on my blog and send you a link to the post. Right now though Im just a little too busy to do the adequate research I want to for a good response. When I do me mandi il centone a Padova! ;)

  • Your questions themselves show a poor understanding of Italian Renaissance Culture, and of the Catholic Church in this period and before. It almost seems like you have an understanding of this period that is based on '101' survey course in either history or art history. Your use of the term 'dark ages' is a prime example of this - historians don't use this term. Your questions are straw men, and vastly over simplified. The realities are far more complex and nuanced than your questions indicate.

  • @m1th1cal

Dark ages and renaissance come from school books, is not my invention.

I look at the Freedom of Conscience as Heresy in one side, and Necessary Prertequisite in the other side.

Put the case of Baptism, asking the act of will as prerequisite is an Heresy or the choice is a Prerequisite? And then the Freedom of Conscience to have personal opinion in science, philosophy... freedom of choice or obedience?

Personal responsabilities or God Will? Is God above the law? and the godfather?

  • This stinks, it sounds like a Catholic Apologist working for the Vatican !!!

  • @k9a2g6

    Hahahaha

IF TO YOU I look like vatican supporter, you won't be able to understand this video...

  • Epic! Thumbs Up!

  • @DamLittLWbMgz

Thank you for your attention... I really need some support from English speaking people... In Italy there are too many catholic organizing this brainwash, but in English, may be I can make it, to unveil this mandatory very moral "no sense".

It is documented in the school programs of all the universities planet wide, including Harvard, Yale, Oxford and Cambridge, and I wonder who is to pass the exams...

  • Nice way to get you homework done :)

  • @ihaveseenyounaked

    Yes, thank you.

Unfortunately I did my homework some 30 years ago...

Now I am just trying to ask the students about their homework

  • A true repentance is when those who stopped committing an offense make changes so that that those same offenses won't happen in the future. The Catholic church was right is right and forever will be right in it's own eyes. Thus the Catholic church is immune to change. The only thing that changed is the world outside the Catholic church. When the world becomes ripe for it the Catholic church will resurrect it's old ways because in truth the Catholic church never changed.

  • @Hierophant2

You are right, che catholic church never changed....

The Renaissance Culture was a revolution against the Catholic CORRUPTION, IINDULGENCY fees, against the NEPOTISM and SIMONY...

AND SINCHE THEN, the catholic church HAS NEVER CHANGED...

And "Nero", was used to feed lions with catholic "souls" only and exactly because the catholic always pretended to be above the laws, like the godfather...

AND SINCE THEN, HAS NEVER CHANGED

    ;-)

  • All three questions appear to have the same answer: because the leadership is not the people, and as the leadership dies off, it's replaced with the people, who bring with them the things they value.

    Hundred bucks, please.

  • @Fordi

Yes you are exactly right. The 3 questions have the same reason, and one single explanation. Unfortunately in Italy the leader is the Pope, people have no rights, the inquisition was never ended, and nobody ever asked how did the Catholic Heresies transform into Catholic Legacy? Because have been all burned on the stake!

The Freedom of Conscience to have a personal opinion, in philosophy, cosmology, science, art, has never been a Catholic Option but a blasphemy

  • 1/ the catholic heirachy at the time of the counter reformation and renaissance was not religious at all but a powerful and wealthy organisation based on religion but with it's leaders e.g. the borgia's not religious in todays sense of the word.

Things changed as part of the reformation and the corrupt church was gradually abolished.

  • What you say in the video description is wrong. The Catholic church paid for a lot of the great works of the Italian renaissance, other works were paid for by the Italian merchant class, who were catholic.

The Catholic church is generally anti-enlightenment, not anti-renaissance. The Renaissance was great publicity for the Catholic church, whilst Enlightenment ideas of philosophy and science began the end of Catholicism in Europe.

I was not able to post the links I have, but can send.

  • @DefaultPosition

I suggest you the video concerning the Sistine Chapel of Michelangelo, in fact the sistine chapel is a fake and the original of Michelangelo was censored while Michelangelo was still alive. Nevertheless the Pope still sells tickets for the Sistine Chapel of Michelangelo...

The Enlightenment starts from the freedom of conscience (freedom of opinion, understanding) the catholic always opposed.

  • Read in small Fachlitaraturen,,, You can find the puzzle,

     and give heed to themselves,

  • First you spam my mailbox and than you ask primary school questions on secondary school answers. I'd suggest you learn to ask open questions rather than introductions to suggestive questions with a minimal amount of open elements. Good questions start with what and how and end with a question mark and aren't ambiguous.

  • @AlainG80

Hi, I am sorry to upset you.

How did the Catholic Heresies turned up to be Catholic Heresies?

Starting from the freedom of conscience to have a personal opinion, in philosophy, cosmology, science, art...

I made this clear, but I understand the ambiguous part of the question, mainly concern preconception and prejudice... When someone learn that the Renaissance Culture is Catholic Legacy at school, he is definbitively brain damaged.

  • let me ask my spam trap for the answer.....

  • @360fatcats

There is no such a thing like spam in my videos,

but in the school programs you may find a lot.

If the student will ask the right questions to the professors,

the world will be a better place.

    Stop Censorship !

    Stop Brainwash !

Unveil the mobsters paid to brainwash and censor society !!

  • I guarantee you will not have to pay many people.

    Too much brain work involved.

  • @tomken8dy

    Hahahaha

The professors in the classrooms do the same job, and the students never asked the right questions to the professors for what they do..

I am on the students side, don't worry... I help out students making questions ;-)

  • All the great artists of the Renaissance worked in great part for the Catholic church (example the Sistine Chapel ceiling, painted by Michelangelo between 1508 and 1512, at the commission of Pope Julius II) but they kept their thoughts and own ideas to themselves in order not to be executed by the devilish inquisition but still made all this great work the church, as we all know Pope John Paul II apologized for all the atrocities of the inquisition way back in March 2000.

    Just a thought, Thx

  • If I do this, I might end up with a PHD in Italian History xD

    nty

  • @tostrong4you Hahaha ;-)

This is a Common Mistake.. This is not Italian History, BUT the History of Catholicism.

This is concerning what the Catholicism can do for Your Country wherever you are. The western army go to civilize the uncivilized countries around the planet, and go with weapons and bibles... Catholic bibles...

Meanwhile the Catholic priests take care of your children. and will never be into a Court because they are above the laws. This morality is not about Italy, isn't it?

  • @modernitaly ooooooh I see what you mean. So its like, if the government does try to do something about the popes, all the millions of Catholics will go nuts at the government and thus they are above the law?

  • @tostrong4you

Hi yes it is, and the proper name for it is "CULTURAL PRIMACY"

It was the MORAL FOUNDATION of the "RACIAL LAWS" of Mussolini, but the same "Cultural Primacy" is motivating and justify the army civilizing the world today ... Cultural Primacy, the higher reasons behind 911

  • you make me happy clearing the indoctrination and mind confusion of brain damaged professors
