  • Great film !

  • When you see GCS with the tube to his ears he's synching the carbs. the knob he pulls and that whirring sound is the supercharger. (not the heater....) I haven't seen this since 1972. 503 BMW's bring good money now.

  • Have this DVD-disc released in USA?

I have been longing for Japanese-subtitled DVD.

(VHS picture is trimmed and imperfect)

Please release it, 20th century fox entertainment Japan!

  • 最高の映画!!

  • Can you help? I am looking on youtube for any bit of a 1964 television show called East Side West Side. I just learned about it. It was supposed to be quite good, but was cancelled after one year. It dealt with issues of race, issues of life in the big city, I understand scripts were smart, acting good starred George C Scott. I searched youtube by title, actor's name. So much but none of it that. I can't believe no one uploaded as it had a short re-run a few years ago.

    thanks if you can help.

  • Great movie, seen it maybe 6 times. Has many lovely moments.

  • Yer I have it on video and it is still a classic.

I learnt the theme on the piano it is lovely, just wish I new how to upload I have done loads of film music by ear.

  • This was filmed in Spain around Nerja and Alumcar and Otiva and the road up to Granada. I grew up in the area in the 70's, some of the old coast road still exists and I recgonise loads of the locations. Spain was very primitive in those days, no supermarkets, all farmers markets, fish off the beach from the fishermen. Which as a child was a real adventure.

My father once drove us down in a BMW CSL, which attracted a crowd every where we stopped!

  • Hi. the opening scene was filmed in Portugal in the Estoril and Cascais area and the villages were in Alentejo. Also, the car has a Portuguese license plate.

  • @gentil79 The village where the movie ends, is Albufeira, in Algarve :)

  • PS: another great score by Jerry Goldsmith!

  • Yes I hope someone will post the entire movie. It is one of my favorites. It is a lost gem. Alan Sharp deserves much credit as his screenplay is indeed sharp. He by the way wrote the script for Night Moves with Gene Hackman. Scott gives a great performance---very subtle and very moving.

  • Oh! I wish someone would post the entire movie on here..or at least somewhere, seeing as you can't buy it on VHS or DVD

  • Has anyone ever seen this movie for sale on DVD? I have tried Amazoon etc to no avail.

  • Seems dated now but still brillian acting and music.
