I'm trying to learn this piece and I don't understand how you play the beginning part. I know it's improv, but I thought you only improv the tempo. And I've seen like 5 different vids of it and they all play stuff that's not written in the music
You have great accuracy with you left hand in the Grandioso section, but it's not enough for it sounds really "GRANDIOSO" try some time inflexions, it could help. Great technique, great rolls, good job
Impro was very well until the end.. the whole thing you've constructed suddenly is interrumped with the ritardando. Did you notice that the Risoluto section is the only one with the time signature strictle markerd? but you play it as freely as the begining wich has no measure. I think it sohuld be played more strictly, it'd get more contrast.
I think that you're my new role model. That was amazing. My friend played Michi her junior year for a percussion solo contest and I thought she did really well. But yours left me amazed. Your one-handed rolls were so great and those accents at the beginning were awesome. That was superb!! I can only hope that I can play that well one day.
Probably is the choir room for better acoustics, makes a nice youtube backdrop, it's more inspirational than a practice room. I love that composition never played it though :-( Keep up the good work.

I have played this before and it says you can improve around the style of the piece.
