I am the SAME way with my bed! It has to be the first thing I do when cleaning. Unfortunately, my hubby *hates* to sleep in a "tucked-in" bed and will destroy it every day! He uses his own separate blanket from the one on the bed, -meaning, he likes to be in his own blanket- which means all the bedding on his side gets piled on top of me @ night. Any suggestions for that? I haven't made a bed in about 5 years, but I really want our room to look nice! Thanks in advance for any help I can get! ^_^

dude my room looks like a bunch of monkeys diecided 2 go through my droors,then a stamped of bieber fans ran in tearing it apart 2 see if justin(i really dont like him so if they did find him he would be dead) was hiding any wear and then some random peps trough some grenades in there (witch bruno failed 2 catch) AND THEN i decided 2 lock my self in there for 3 weeks....so yeah its ALOT differnt compared 2 the spotless room that u call dirty is.

I'm currently living in a 10m2 room with a mattress(no bed), a 2 seat couch, and a table which consists of a mirror on top of a box. Half the ceiling is at a 60 degree angle cause i live right under the roof. I don't have a shelf etc, so I have to keep things on the floor. HOW DO I FOLLOW THE FIRST STEP?!?!?!

@xist522 get three boxes labeled give away throw away and put away...clear the clutter. Then...get all your clothes that are dirty and go to the laundry mat and wash them and dry them and fold them....if there are clothes that you haven't worn for more than 1 year....give them to Good will. Come back and hang your clothes in order...pants, skirts, shirts, sweaters...if you have a dresser, assign drawers...

At this point your floor should be clear and your closet and dresser organized.

@cmoursler3 Now...starting at the top of the wall, use a broom and dust the tops of the walls to get rid of cobwebs...same with windows. Wash your bedding, vacuum your bed. Now wash your walls and windows...this doesn't have to be fancy...just a cloth and dish soap and hot water for the walls...window cleaner for windows and mirrors and pictures. Then vacuum and or sweep and mop the floor...Now go area by area.

No offense, and I know I do not have to watch the video (as in trying to complain and I watch these kind of videos just to get cleaning tips), but I'm with y'all because I do notice in just all of these videos, well the ones I have seen the houses are pretty much clean and not need that much cleaning, Where's the's house that are in bad shape messy or kinda messy from kids, etc, where the people who live there try to keep it clean. I never see spots on the floors, etc; jmo.

If you start with the bed, all the dust from the ceiling, walls, and stuff you put on it is going to accumulate onto your bed. I'd put everything there first and then change your bedsheets, pillows, pillow sheets and such last.
