okay someone explain to me, i understand that theres dvds with original japanese music and this american music, I grew up with the american music and im curious if the 'box sets' that are so common to find if they all have american music or the original japanese tracks? and if they have them is there an option to change to which one you want to listen to? because i feel like the japanese music is only good in 'dragonball' and not good in dragonball z or GT, thank you!

@BlaxxShadow : I think that was a good idea too. Even though I prefer the FUNI dub and Faulconer music all the way, for some reason when Vegeta hits cell with the Final Flash it sounds louder more powerful on the Japanese dub.

@jukteen416 Take a 4:3 image (fullscreen, as DBZ was originally aired) and crop it to 16:9. That is what they did. Sure it cut some out, but tbh i don't noticed any times where it matters. I think it's better than having black bars on the sides :L

@jukteen416 Dont test your luck. Dragon box 2 is like $600. You'll be happy with the orange sets. If you wait a bit the price changes on amazon a lot. I got REALLY lucky and got them all for 11-14 bucks each.

@jukteen416 If you don't mind the cropping, then it shouldn't matter to you. Here: /watch?v=iEncqyKH9M4 The first half of the video is the orange set. If you get the widescreen version you will see a bit more stuff that was on the top and bottom, but you will have black bars on the sides. Personally (being on a 1920x1080 monitor), i don't mind the bit of cropping.

@jukteen416 I just watched it fullscreen and noticed that. That was actually giving me a headache. I never noticed that in the actual dvd (the shaking). If you can get the boxes at a reasonable price get them. Especially #2, i would reccomend buying as many of those as possible if you get it at a decent price. Those are collector items now...

@nisteven considering the writer was forced to write more dbz episodes after the freiza saga, it was alright. He originally was done when goku turned super saiyan but the forced and payed him a huge wage to make more episodes after that. which is why we got stupid ridiculous characters like fat majin buu and freiza/cooler coming back.
