I still wonder, when I hear the word majority, from muslims, why they don't mention, that the majority, or killings, are also, done by muslims, even killing their own, in their own countries. How can they really, compare themselves, with religions, that are peacefull ? I wan't to hear the truth, not passing the book, in a non-reasoning way.
Every few news cycles Fox comes up with some other controversy that is destroying America. You'd think people would have tired of their BS by now but I suspect the idiots that watch Fox for their news have no mind of their own so this constant barrage of shit doesn't affect them.
The problem with the Ground Zero Mosque thing was that we only heard about during election time, when stupid politicians who don't care about anyone but themselves, took this issue to help them get votes. They could care less about Park 51 or the American People, or anyone else for that matter. This whole Ground Zero Mosque was just another thing for stupid, useless politicians to get votes. All politicians don't care about anyone but themselves. They're all frauds.
A heavily-edited version of the interview in no way shows us what the interview was like. Laura is usually polite with guests whether she agrees with them or not (of course if they go on the attack, that's a different story).
Aside from that, there's such a thing as changing one's mind on an issue as more details come to light.
Aaand so much for YouTube's fair and impartial policies-- why is this a "featured" video on Laura's own pages? Do Libs have vids bashing them, featured on their pages?
No Christians are killing people of a drawing of Jesus, No Catholic is praising martyrdom, No Buddist is with a bomb strapped to them under their traditional garb, no-one Amish is calling for Jihad. Islam views are polar opposite to normal people that stand for divine morality, goodness, glorifying Life & peace to all. I believe that Islam should be Outlawed in America and banished from around the world. Give them all a free trip to Mecca during their Rhamadam and turn their sand into glass.
@DrDawsonrocks are u stupid have u heard of the KKK they are just a more glorified version of the extremists who are just mentally ill people looking for excuses to kill, u cant judge all of islam by those men
@aurkomaitra - Are you indoctrinated beyond stupidity? Are you so fucked in the head that it's impossible for you to think? I think you're so fucked up that even the simplest concepts are WAY beyond your reach. You're so fucked up it's impossible for you to understand that nowhere in the Bible does it condone or demand the organizational roles of Wizards, Dragons, or Cyclops. You're so beyond stupid, fucking retarded that you cannot understand it CONDEMNS them as sorcerers. You're a dipshit!
You're a f'ing idiot "Turk" Just travel around the world a little. Go to Thailand and see how Mege Mosques have popped up like daisies. Read the Koran, in depth, not just a page or two that sound moderate to the unknowing.
You're a f'ing idiot "Turk" Just travel around the world a little. Go to Thailand and see how Mege Mosques have popped up like daisies. Read the Koran, in depth, not just a page or two that sound moderate to the unknowing.
You have to wonder what would make Imam Rauf want to hide the money trail. Why is it "racist" to ask where the $100 Million for the Mosque project is coming from. I know many liberals who think that building a mega mosque that close to ground zero is provacative. If Bloomburg wasn't such a pin head, he'd at least have the cahones to check into where all this money is coming from. It's coming from the Wahabis and the scum of the scum in the middle east.
The analogy doesn't work because religion played a less important role for the KKK than religion does for the Jihadists. I think extreme Muslims use religion as a smokescreen for and toward attaining power, but it nonetheless plays a comparitively much bigger role. As a result some people have trouble seperating the two.
@g1a1r1y3 i would disagree and i think that the KKK was also just using their religion as an excuse to kill. remember they killed anyone who wasn't a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP).
@funkbrother216 right i had forgotton the carpetbaggers. so that's blacks, asians, native americans, catholics, northerners, anyone who wasn't christian....that's pretty much everyone.
@TherealMrChristophel One of my best friends is Muslim. I am Christian. I know several people who are Muslim and they are decent individuals. But I prefer to take my opinion of Islam from the Bible. It talks about Islam a lot actually, both in the past and in future Bible prophecy. Their religion is represented, many believe, as one of the four horseman in Revelations. And their religion directly comes from a Biblical event. So it would make sense that to understand what the Bible says about it.
@ShenMerrick well, seeing as islam was founded in the 7th centurary and the bible was supposedly written 400 year earlier, i'm just gonna keep believeing that terrorists are bad but that islam in general is awesome. wounderful archictecture.
@TherealMrChristophel Well seeing as I said Islam is based on a Biblical event, that would seem to say ahead of time that the event came before Islam. Anyway...we'll try a different topic, one easier to understand perhaps. Its all fine and good to focus on "terrorists" but make sure you focus on the right ones. The "terrorists" from over seas are typically either drugged up patsies or hired off lackies. The real starters of terrorism are the CIA and the Pentagon. Focus on them.
@TherealMrChristophel I was referring to more recent events actually. Typically when people hide under the shelter words "terrorism/terrorist" they are referring to some poor bearded guy living in a cave in the middle east somewhere. But alas, I was wrong...somehow your still stuck in 1947. So yeah...perhaps we'll end the discussion here, since we're in entirely different realms of conversation then.
@ShenMerrick no you were talking about how "The real starters of terrorism are the CIA and the Pentagon." Main terrorist leaders, most notiably Bin Laden himself, were trained in the US by the CIA and given weapons to fight a terrorist war against invading Soviet forces in the 1980's. that's where terrorist organisations have gotten alot of weapons from, and their training as well. read up on your history, man.
@ShenMerrick Just read through your convo with TherealMrChristopher, he is right about everything and you are incredibly arrogant to him and yet all your facts are wrong. You clearly state you have read about Islam in the bible when it was not founded for hundreds of years after the bible. You think the CIA in the middle east happened in 1947 when Bin Laden was born in 1957 and he was clearly talking about The USSR invasion of Afgan in 1979. Learn some fact before mocking others.
@TherealMrChristophel cant agree with that. the KKK is the kook fringe of christianity who even hate other chrisitans more than blacks (catholics). there numbers are tiny, their evil is limited. with over 10,000 terrorist attacks since 9/11 all of them by muslim terrorists, its is not analagous.
BTW i personally believe that the average muslim is not a terrorist. Personally I would find another religion to worship God through, or make another version of islam, that does not involve mohammed.
@havock89 in the 1920's the KKK boasted around 6 million members. that's twice the population of Mongolia. thankfully now there is only around 4500 but in the 20's the Klan ruled the South. police officers, judges and even govenors formed their ranks. also that "other version of Islam" is pretty much christianity, their teachings are more or less identicle until the new testiment, and even then Muhammad is not the one at fault in islam, it's those who came after him, the warlords and so on.
@TherealMrChristophel Mohammed was THE warlord, its his example all islamists follow, its his claim to be an "excellent example" in the quran that damns islam. Also protestant chrisitanity is not the majority of christianity and constitutes the kook fringe. Personally I would still find another religion to worship God through, or make another version of islam, that does not involve mohammed.
@havock89 and even then those at the very top of terrorist organisations are not fighting for Islam, they are using it to turn the young men into fanatics and warping their minds to make them fight for their own political agendas. Bin Laden and the rest of them are not upset over Islam, they're upset over how a big chunk of palestinian land was given to the Jews and how the new Israel state went on to attack all of it's neighbours, causing them to attack it and so forth.
@TherealMrChristophel But they claim they are, and islam gives them the motive and the means to do so.
Palestine surrendered to the allied forces, specifically England in WWII. Serves them right for supporting hitler. Israel got rocket shells first from their neighbours, and the palestinians were expecting to win the 6 day war because they had numbers on their side. I guess Israel had God on their side.
@havock89 not even remotly true. Palestine had bee nconquered by the Ottoman Turks centuaries before, and was then conquered by Britain at the end of World War I (when Hitler was still a Corpral, in a military hospital). The Palestinians never supported Hitler. also what i'm saying is that Bin Laden is abusing Islam and using it to fanaticise young men to fight for him. Suicide of any kind, let alone bombing, is condemed by the Qu'ran.
@havock89 also it's not about who started it, it's the fact that both sides have started wars, and now Israel, instead of fighting, has begun to quietly steal Palestinian lands, erase any traces of them and claim it as their own. You may have heard of a scandle over the Israeli government removing ancient Palestinian gravestones and replacing them with fake Jewish ones? don't get me wrong i am entirly in favour of the idea of a jewish state, i just don't agree with their forgien policys.
@TherealMrChristophel I can get behind most of what you are saying here, but it does matter who started it. Its the thinking that its wrong to throw the first punch but right to throw the second.
@TherealMrChristophel Yeah the jews hated being treated as Dhimmi, forced to wear yellow belts and head dress to declare the subjugation by sharia. Haj Amin Al-Husseini gave hitler the idea to mark the jews with a yellow start of david. Everyone hates everyone in the middle east. I dont know what it is about that place, but there is no peace there, no civility, only rule by intimidation and the iron fist. Very sad.
@havock89 that is rediculous. jews have been force to wear special clothes to single them out since Shakespear's time and hundreads of years prior. also you still aren't getting it. It was British, under British rule, British Law and His Majesty the King. Not the "Mufti" character you've brought up.
@TherealMrChristophel I dont deny that the jews in the diaspora were forced to wear red head-dress in european countries. Another effect of the influence of islam on the western world. I am also no whitewashing the history of the jews either, I know they have been very hateful in the past, also.
@havock89 they are angry at America as they see it as helping Israel to attack their countries. unfortuantly instead of entering diplomatic talks they are using propaganda to stir up hatered, and using that hatered to carry out attacks.
@TherealMrChristophel: Roman Catholic church killed more people than any other organization. They were worst than KKK... But I still believe that religions in general are fairy tales (I don't need any master, or god or satan, whatever..!) I wanna live free or die trying.
You said that the Catholic Church killed more people than an other organization. You're so fucked in the head it's impossible for you to understand that Atheism killed more people in the winter of 1933 than the everyone who was killed on both all sides of the Crusades for several hundred years. You're so fucked in the head you cannot understand that the French Revolution killed more people than the entire Inquisition. You're too stupid to read and study the actual figures. All too stupid.
@thomaserossi: Atheism , that's why nazi soldiers wore "Gott mitt uns" on their belt buckles..? I've studied the history of MY continent for more than 10 years. Crusades have lasted 196 years, enough to kill lots of innocent people in the name of YOUR god..! The french revolution killed mostly aristocrats, priests and nuns, good riddance..! The inquisition was burning women accused of "witchcraft", that's criminal, stupid, and never will be forgiven. I hope you won't miss the F... words...
@thomaserossi "Atheism killed more people"...? Lol fucking idiot. You claim to know all the facts but you obviously don't know shit. Like @condebayarf said, the Nazi's believed God was on their side. I don't think there has been any mass killing in the name of athiesm, why, because nobody's stupid enough to fight for something they don't believe in. Whereas, relligious nuts have been killing in the name of their faith for thousands of years.
@TherealMrChristophel Yes all religion is pointless and letting it go would save lifes
and btw islam and christianity both have exremist views in their books so just because there are some good religious people does not excuse the injustice on woman the koran preaches
@pandasftuw first of all *lives, second of all the Qur'an does not say anything about women being forced to wear veils or being in any way inferior to men. also yes, religion can cause problems, sometimes fatal one, being scottish i know that. but humans need religion. we need the tooth fairys. we need the santa clauses. we need the small lies so that we can believe in the big ones. religion inspires great acts of kindness and charity and of art and education.
@TherealMrChristophel I don't agree that we "need" religion, tooth fairies, and the like. Men wrote the doctrines of religion... And the bible isn't some great, moral book. Religion CAN inspire great acts of kindness, but it also inspires hate, discrimination, misogyny, and many other horrible things.
@AncientsReborn i know the bible is not literally the word of god. the capacity to hate is not created by religion. it's an innate human faculity. kindness, hate, discrimination, charity and wisdom all bound up into one thing is human-kind all over.
@pandasftuw in the middle ages, whilst Europe stagnated the middle east was a utopia, driven by science, reason and understanding. it was truly a golden age. in Cairo Muslims, Jews and Christians lived together in harmony. Thinker of all three of these faiths worked together to translate and understand the writings of the greeks, works that were burnt as "pagan" and "satanic" in europe. beautiful palaces were built and works of art created. who knows what we could be losing to war.
@SpringChatty because it's a little thick. i'm sayiny that Islamic extremists are using their religion as an excuse to kill, similar to how the KKK use Christianity as a justification to kill and torture, and that there is so much more to Islam then terrorists like there is so much more to Christianity than the KKK.
@TherealMrChristophel The KKK are bad, but would have to go a very, very long way, to even scract the surface, of the killings done by muslims, and the KKK dont blow their own people up, so that's one thing in their favour. The KKK are still bad though, before someone tries to say they are good.
@ForYeGo well no, during the height of the KKK in the 20s there was over 4 million members. when you consider that AT PRESENT the population of Mongolia is 3 million that is simply mind blowing. The KKK didn't fight in the South, as there was no opposition, everybody was either on their side, too frightened to do anything or in the pocket. They RULED with an iron fist of terror. Also Muslims don't kill people, terrorists do. All Muslims aren't terrorists and no terrorists are true Muslims.
@TherealMrChristophel The terrorists, know they are the true muslims, so this will never end. That is what brainwashing does, and without islam, most terrorists, would not exist. Catch 22 comes to mind. What would you think of, as the best solution ?
@ForYeGo Terrorists do not know themselves to be true Muslims, they believe themselves to be true Muslims, there's a big difference. As I have stated many times before the problem here is not Islam, no more than the problem that results in groups like the KKK is Christianity, it's hatred, on both sides. What needs to happen is that people, Jews, Christians, Muslims and atheists need to work together, firstly to create a real and lasting peace between Israel and Palestine.
@TherealMrChristophel Secondly, to repair the damage done to relations. Try to stop young men turing to extremeism as they feel it's the only way to make their veiw heard and stop the leaders perverting religion to push their political agenda.
@TherealMrChristophel@TherealMrChristophel You call that stupid, so you obviously have a very good reason, for saying that, so please tell us all, that reason, as you have obviously thoiught very deeply about religion, and it's great benefit to our world. Once you have told us, I'll give you my logical reasons, for saying what I did.
@ForYeGo Because, despite its faults, religion does encourage great acts of kindness, beauty and generally, I believe we as a species are richer for it. Hatred is not caused by religion, it's caused by small mindedness. It is entirely possible for religions to co-exist peacefully. I mean ask yourself, Why is it that many Bible-Bashers like the WBC are also generally increadibly stupid? It's because they are small minded and using the religion asa rationalisation for their hatred.
@TherealMrChristophel Ask yourself, Do they hate homosexuality, because God, supposedly, hates it, or because they themselves find it repulsive? It's akin to the Euthyphro Dilemma, is something morally wrong upon its own merits, and God or the Gods are merely pointing that out as an example of something that's morally wrong, or is it morally wrong BECAUSE God or the Gods say it is? Basically, would the WBC have a problem with homosexuality even if God was perfectly fine with it? I think Yes.
haha you're such a clown..who are u anyways? are u like a "youtube reporter"? lol some lil douche bag with a lil fake ass set thinking people actually paying attention to you? lol beat it clown, nowone cares what u have to say!
No thin air Young Turk. More evidence came out after Ingrahm talked to this woman to whom you refer sofondly. The Imam and developer are involved in owing the City of New York hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxes in arrears. Faisal went to Iran a few years ago to have a meeting with extremist clerics there. What he says in Arabic websites about America is polar opposite of what he two facedly claims as a so called dove of peace on the English ones. Nice try at a snow job, but no ice!
Please spare me. If you have any integrity, you will realize that once some research was done - eg the imams previous statements and questions as to who was funding the enterprise combined with the objections of the victims families, the controversy developed. Note MRs Imam never responded as to why that location was chosen. In India, Israel, Turkey and myriad other locations muslims build mosques on others' holy sites. This is not coincidence. This is disdain and arrogance.
Actually, Rupert Murdoch is a naturalized citizen of the United States.
He HAD to obtain US Citizenship to meet FCC requirements to own Fox Network.
And above all, Rupert Murdoch is NOT a conservative. He's a Capitalist. Newcorp takes the slant that it does for nothing but ratings and revenue, and we give them publicity by responding to their screed.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it ATHEISM that has doubled in popularity over the past generation while faith in Christianity has been steadily declining?
12 million atheists/agnostics, almost none of whom read the National Enquirer or watch FOX Noise.
12 million weekly readers of the National Enquirer, almost all of them believing in God and watching FOX Noise.
Not gonna refute the hypocrisy of FOX, but "Fundie Islam" will see a Mosque on the site of their biggest and most successful attack on the infidels as a huge victory. Anybody who thinks otherwise exists in a world separate to the one I occupy.
@UnitedKingdomify well... im intrigued that you feel that you know how the fundamentalists will view the mosque without actually knowing that. have you talked to a large number of islamic fundamentalists recently? and how would they view it as a "victory" if the mosque doesnt actually espouse fundamentalist views? what happens when they start preaching peace and love in this mosque? just what the terrorists want huh
@xmastershake Perhaps we have our wires crossed when it comes to the word "fundie". I'm thinking of the mindset that permits men and women to strap explosives to their chests in order to obliterate the innocent people surrounding them. Those people flying aircraft into buildings.
Those who have declared war in 'infidels'. It's not a stretch to imagine their glee at having a shrine to their God in the place of their most successful attack on the infidel.
@xmastershake The religion itself is geared toward violence, conversion, and conquest. As it sings the praises of its violent Prophet. Only if you look really, REALLY hard, and become ignorant to the passages you don't like and choose to mentally omit, can you find the peace it preaches.
@UnitedKingdomify you think over a billion muslims are violent and out to conquer us? maybe you really do live on a separate world. the things you mentioned are exactly what separate the fundamentalists from the common contemporary muslim. my question still stands, why would a common muslim mosque be viewed as a sign of victory, or conquest, if its just a community center? trust me, if theres a shred of fundamentalism coming from that mosque it'll be shut down faster than you can type a response
@xmastershake What aren't you getting about the word FUNDIE? Empathise for a moment will you. Put yourself in THEIR shoes, it's genuinely not that difficult. The FUNDIES, not the common Muslim. As a fundie you would put a negative spin on anything to favour your cause. Tell me how building a shrine at the site of the attack can have anything but a positive impact on the FUNDIE and their recruitment drive?! Let me know.
It won't be coming from THAT Mosque! But its very existence is enough.
@UnitedKingdomify oh and one more thing, to your other dumb comment, the one that said "As a fundie you would put a negative spin on anything to favour your cause". yeah youre probably right. they can put a negative spin on ANYTHING. so why make a big deal out of a mosque, when they have unlimited ammunition (according to you) anyway? why should we change our freedoms around to worry about some fucking fundamentalists? grow some balls
@xmastershake It's not about changing freedoms. It's about not building a holy temple on the site of a place attacked in the name of the religion it represents. I said the religion does not promote peace and coexistence with non-Muslims. That doesn't mean every Muslim in sight is gonna attack you. It means deep down they either want you to convert or want you gone. In the meantime they'll hold you in disdain, and even be friendly about it.
@xmastershake I grew up with British Muslims. Pakistani, but third generation British. They are Muslim before they are British, and when you've spoken as candidly as we have about it, then you can talk to me about how well you know their core beliefs.
Fundies: Putting a spin on anything to favour their cause is all well and good. You called it ammo, great. BB Gun pellets = No mosque. Propaganda nuke = Mosque.
You seen the marches I mentioned, against the fundie actions? Any meaningful protest?
@xmastershake No. Never. It wouldn't happen. Just keep watching those lacklustre condemnation speeches on your nightly news, from Muslim rep 101. Can't expect any hearty, passionate protest against fundie actions from the Muslim community, because, essentially, there really isn't a passionate reaction to hearing about infidels getting owned.
@UnitedKingdomify you have no idea what youre talking about. there would be no "propaganda nuke" had this not become such a drama in the first place. all this hype was meant to do was stir up fear and mistrust among people who already live together. you obviously bought into it. which makes you a tool. its not about their reaction to "infidels getting owned" at all. its about our policies and our country. im not buying into the hysteria like you are
@xmastershake Yeah it's poxy little reports like these that I buy into, not the fact that the freedom you talk about tend not to apply when opposing Islam. But passing laws of blasphemy, because Muslims are threatening to kill certain authors (can't say anything negative about it [freedom of speech]), that's fine, banning certain images because Muslims are rioting in the sreets (meaning you can't make fun of it [freedom of expression]), that's fine.
@UnitedKingdomify you wont find me supporting those angry muslims. you will find me, as you have, supporting their right to have a mosque among countless other religious institutions in this country
@xmastershake But my point about the religion itself, how anti-everything-non-muslim it is. It's still true. At its heart you can see it, and you will NEVER, EVER see a thousand strong parade of Muslims marching in protest against anything but Western opinions they have deemed offensive to Islam. Odd how they can't muster that kind of passion when there are people destroying themselves and others in the name of it. You don't see huge parades of Muslims going: "Not In Our Name! etc. Ever.
@xmastershake You'll get exactly one spokesperson from each Muslim organisation in the United States stating on television, "This is not Islam. These are not Muslims. Of course we condemn these attacks." With exactly zer0 emotion. How many times have you seen parades raising awareness about the negative preaching of Islam? These REAL Muslims you speak of, peaceful and righteous, man they ARE quiet! But how people automatically sing their praises having seen so little of them, it's astonishing.
@xmastershake In fact. FInd me a video on YouTube that has a message of peace, from a REAL Muslim. Saying things like "coexist" and "together" (meaning embracing other people, religions etc) rather than "Islam is the only way to peace" or "turn to Islam".
I haven't tried but I'm guessing it's difficult. You can post a link to the vid in my comments or something. =D
@UnitedKingdomify thats the dumbest thing ever heard. why not just talk to a regular muslim dude that doesnt promote violence? theres plenty out there in the UK. ive met a few here in the US. theyre nice people. and guess what? by being here in the US/UK, they ARE "coexisting" with us! i even saw one at the grocery store! how crazy is that? maybe you should venture out of your computer room once in a while, buddy
Ingraham is a puppet, but the spokes person for the Mosk already said they where building the Mosk there BECAUSE of 9/11. Acting like it would show the extremists anything. Like they dont know its a "great" spot to promote, at the expense of the victims, there own religion because of the whole dramatic history of the location of ground zero in regards to Muslim extremists.
Ground zero will be a religious PR gold mine for the Islamic faith if built.
Thats why they first tried to get it built in 2003... Its still not built because nobody cares and it became political in 2010.
Makes perfect sense, not.
Expecting the spokes people for the Mosk to say on American tv that they want to build the Mosk to gain political symbolism world wide to aid there cause of spreading the Islamic faith would be stupid. Its like George Bush going on tv and saying Saddam has no WMDs, but we are now attacking because we want more oil...
The very definition of Conservative is Hypocrisy. These people worry about what everyone else is doing, then whine about it, until they get home, where they're doing it. FNC, Lintball, Hannity, Beck the Nut and all the rest know their audience is uneducated, retards.
Excuse me Turk - That was before we found out about Rauf's ties to terrorist organizations. IIIT Muslim Brotherhood, IHH, Perdana, and the list goes on. Do your homework
@CATMERLINO1 Those ties are attached to the 2nd biggest shareholder of fox news a saudi prince whom is funding the project you retard. You should join a special club known as the teabaggers.
If they build a mosque at ground zero I will become utterly nothing special and begin protesting by masturbating the same amount I do now. It is difficult for me to clarify how much I completely do not care about this. So many arguments when there is no argument. The teabaggers can protest all they want, property rights win. End of story. Whats the argument? The teabaggers want the Holy State of Obama to rebuke free market capitalism in the name of America?
Rupert fucking Murdoch, that fucking dog isn't even an American, deport the cunt. He gave up his Australian citizenship to be able to run a news network in America, he couldn't give a shit about America, just fucking deport the cunt.
@idontfkinknow1234 well what ever you do, dont send him back to Australia, because we threw his ass out in the frist place. Send his ass to China... :)
@idontfkinknow1234 what is american?...... a descendent of a slave owner? anybody who goes to america regardless of their citizenship can and is american....absolute bullshit....if i use ur logic, only the native are americans
@ThePurplehex ture Americans are whites who conquered it and built it, makign it is what it is. The natives are not Americans, they are x-owners of a large area of land on the North American contenent. Muslims are not real Americans, they are mid-eastren, and had nothing to do with the building of America.
The largest percentage of Muslims are 7th century culture, and that culture supports dangerous behavior.
@idontfkinknow1234 Cunt is too respectable a word for that scum of humanity. Coulda sworn I heard somewhere that if he could make more money than he does with Fox now but with it as a liberal network he'd make the change.
@idontfkinknow1234 I disagree with deporting Murdoch. If he's deported then that means he comes home, here to Australia. And we don't want that. Fuck off Murdoch, you're not welcome here.
Actually, Rupert Murdoch is a naturalized citizen of the United States.
He HAD to obtain US Citizenship to meet FCC requirements to own Fox Network.
And above all, Rupert Murdoch is NOT a conservative. He's a Capitalist. Newcorp takes the slant that it does for nothing but ratings and revenue, and we give them publicity by responding to their screed, which is just what Murdoch wants.
In several interviews Laura pushes the question, 'does the us have more blood on their hands than al-qaeda?' No one yet has the balls to say yes or to determine why she thinks al-qaeda has more blood on their hands.
American Christian fundamentalists seem determined to turn this whole thing into something very similar to Germany's "Night of the broken glass" , and I find that really tragic. I can't think of a more innapropriate way of rememberring and honoring the 9/11 victims than for their fellow Americans to start behaving like Nazis on their behalf.
Hey, I have an idea: since the left can't defend building a mosque at Ground Zero, let's play incomplete, deliberately edited clips of conservative talk show hosts and try to discredit them.
Oh...I see they're already doing that. Thanks again, Young Turds.
"let's play incomplete, deliberately edited clips of conservative talk show hosts" Please, please tell me the hard needed context to her quotes liked 'I applaud' & 'I think it's fantastic'
@wimscheers Did the Young Turds play the entire interview? Did they play the segments of the interview where Laura TOTALLY expresses her objections while at the same time being complimentary to the other person? No. Typical, dishonest, snarky, personal, horseshit from you statists. Let's be clear: this is nothing more than an attempt to divert our attention from the real issue: a radical Muslim "Imam" is building a mosque near Ground Zero.
@dmreeoogdaq "Did the Young Turds play the entire interview? Did they play the segments of the interview where Laura TOTALLY expresses her objections while at the same time being complimentary to the other person?"
Well you know what you can do? You can put those segments up to show how the turks were being deceitful.
Not to say you are lying. But I'm confused how Ingrahm can say this is "wonderful" and then say she objects to it.
" play the entire interview?" You're kidding right? Do you seriously think all opinion programs should play any clip in full, all the time?
But here, the full interview; New Islamic Mosque at Ground Zero? (12.21.09)
And I'm a bit at a loss here. Where exactly does she come anywhere near the aggressive attacks we’re seeing today? The whole segments was “you're a great bunch, but your husband said something I disagree with, could he retract so we'd all be bestest friends again?”
@wimscheers "It's been edited!" is the standard cry of butthurt idiots whose viewpoint is destroyed on video. They just can't accept they they're wrong/lying/ignorant and have to blame the cutting room for making them look stupid.
I didn't heard Laura Ingraham saying that she supported "a ground zero mosque." Well, I don't know how the smart young Muslim "Turks" came up with that conclusion. No wonder most Germans and Frenchmen do not want Turks to be a part of the European Union. It will significantly lower the overall IQ of the citizens of European Union.
@americanchristian10 maybe you dont listen when you watch videos... sounds like a personal choice or problem. Cant blame the video for what YOU choose to hear or not hear.
@americanchristian102:40-2:45, it's not her stating it verbatim but it's her supporting Daisy who just went on about having that center near ground zero.
Her stating that "I support a Ground Zero Mosque" isn't even valid point to state as you're trying to do, because it's not a Mosque it's a Community Center that will have both room for prayer and exercise. And you dont need to pray in order to use the B-ball court. Listening is not the same as hearing. please learn the difference.
@birthdaynick80 I don't think you have to pray to use toilets in that building anyway. The fact is that Laura never supported a Ground Zero "Mosque". So, Laura Ingraham 'Mosque' Hypocrisy? "Listening is not the same as hearing. please learn the difference." I like that. You got a PhD in English from Harvard or Oxford or what? Just curious as I am not as highly educated as you are.
Laura specifically said she supported this woman's efforts. This woman efforts include the establishment of the islamic community center. What do you think Laura was referring to when she said the guest "was doing a good thing"?
@11111110 I am not Laura and can't speak on her behalf as well. You can ask her directly to clarify the matter. I don't make random interpretations of other people's words as the young Turks always do.
The interpretation wasn't random. The Laura interviewed the guest about her efforts to establish the community center. At the end of the interview, Laura complimented both the guest and the project itself, calling the effort to build the center a "good thing". Really, use the best of your imaginative powers to tell me what else Laura Ingram could have possibly been referring to?
@americanchristian10 You fail at the point; It doesnt matter what she thinks. Free market capitalism. If the property is for sale it is for sale. What is your argument? You dont have one. Your argument is at best anti-American and at worst a crime.
@GnosticAtheist Alright, you are the judge of the world. I don't know why you even spend your precious time on youtube commenting on ignorant people like me. Have nothing else more important to do?
@americanchristian10 You believe this country was founded on "Christian" beliefs, could you please direct us to where it says in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence that the fundamental belief system of America is to be "Christian". Fascinating how prot based Christian denominations were afraid of US falling under a Theocracy of the Roman Church, now afraid of Muslims;Do you believe it to be more sound if the Theologies of Beck or Palin be the way to run the country? lol
@ArtetlaMusique87 If I am not mistaken, I believe it was founded by Christians, unless you can prove that it was founded by Muslims, atheists, Buddhists, or Jews. I wonder if you are an American religious history professor from Harvard. You know so much about America afraid of falling under various theocracies.
@americanchristian10 The US will never be ruled by Sharia. That is deep seeded fear of the C fundamentalists; as you have been in the past re other religions and races. You seem to have selective memory re the Timothy McVeigh Oklahoma bombing, he was a Christian, and lets see here, Far right republican's (who are a high percentage of fundamentalist Christians) are calling for violence against the President of the United States. You don't find that to be as disturbing as fundamentalist Muslims?
@ArtetlaMusique87 Well, I really have no idea of current world events as I do not watch CNN International. Timothy McVeigh slaughtered 168 people in the name of Christianity and called for the death of non-Christians. Alright. I am not sure if you keep up with American events over the past few years when some extreme leftists called President Bush all sorts of "terrible things". I don't even dare to mention them as a Christian. You don't find that to be as disturbing as fundamentalist Muslims?
@americanchristian10 That's the problem w many Americans, they base their mis- information of opinions off of main stream media, or the preacher man, instead of looking at outside sources or educating themselves with different perspectives; Our media ( even left wing) does not give us the full blown story. Ya see ,if you don't know any sort of history re occupation and wars, you are going to have a narrow minded view of things. You can still love your country but disagree with its policies.
@americanchristian10 How was the country "founded" by Christians? Pilgrims? Quakers? The Native Americans were here before 'anyone' was; Archeology findings have found that Irish Monks and Vikings were here before Columbus was. If you want to know history re WHY the founders made it so NO religion was the law of the land, you have to look to Europe and the reformation etc; Wars were mostly about religion.
@ArtetlaMusique87 Alright, the Native Americans, Irish Monks, Vikings and Columbus altogether founded the new nation of the United States of America? I believe that dinosaurs and some other primitive animals founded this "land" well before any of the groups you mentioned.
@americanchristian10 What makes the basis of a "founding of a country? " Christian beliefs? You people want to cling on to that so bad, you use it for a political motive to push your religion on others, as if it means to be a "great American" you are to be a Christian and a Christian only. That's not what the founding fathers drafted in the Constitution. So to base your belief that the country was founded on Christian beliefs is nothing more than wishful thinking.

They're all frauds.

why?

A heavily-edited version of the interview in no way shows us what the interview was like. Laura is usually polite with guests whether she agrees with them or not (of course if they go on the attack, that's a different story).
Aside from that, there's such a thing as changing one's mind on an issue as more details come to light.
Aaand so much for YouTube's fair and impartial policies-- why is this a "featured" video on Laura's own pages? Do Libs have vids bashing them, featured on their pages?

You have to wonder what would make Imam Rauf want to hide the money trail. Why is it "racist" to ask where the $100 Million for the Mosque project is coming from. I know many liberals who think that building a mega mosque that close to ground zero is provacative. If Bloomburg wasn't such a pin head, he'd at least have the cahones to check into where all this money is coming from. It's coming from the Wahabis and the scum of the scum in the middle east.

Drawing an opinion of Islam from terrorists is like drawing an opinion of the whole of Christianity purely on the KKK.
TherealMrChristophel 1 year ago 67
@TherealMrChristophel
The analogy doesn't work because religion played a less important role for the KKK than religion does for the Jihadists. I think extreme Muslims use religion as a smokescreen for and toward attaining power, but it nonetheless plays a comparitively much bigger role. As a result some people have trouble seperating the two.
g1a1r1y3 1 year ago
@g1a1r1y3 i would disagree and i think that the KKK was also just using their religion as an excuse to kill. remember they killed anyone who wasn't a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP).

ShenMerrick 1 year ago
@ShenMerrick well, seeing as islam was founded in the 7th centurary and the bible was supposedly written 400 year earlier, i'm just gonna keep believeing that terrorists are bad but that islam in general is awesome. wounderful archictecture.
TherealMrChristophel 1 year ago
@TherealMrChristophel Well seeing as I said Islam is based on a Biblical event, that would seem to say ahead of time that the event came before Islam. Anyway...we'll try a different topic, one easier to understand perhaps. Its all fine and good to focus on "terrorists" but make sure you focus on the right ones. The "terrorists" from over seas are typically either drugged up patsies or hired off lackies. The real starters of terrorism are the CIA and the Pentagon. Focus on them.
ShenMerrick 1 year ago
@ShenMerrick yes beacause of course, during the cold war the cia trained and armed terrorists to figth againtst the invading soviets. nice move, guys.
TherealMrChristophel 1 year ago
@TherealMrChristophel I was referring to more recent events actually. Typically when people hide under the shelter words "terrorism/terrorist" they are referring to some poor bearded guy living in a cave in the middle east somewhere. But alas, I was wrong...somehow your still stuck in 1947. So yeah...perhaps we'll end the discussion here, since we're in entirely different realms of conversation then.
ShenMerrick 1 year ago
@ShenMerrick no you were talking about how "The real starters of terrorism are the CIA and the Pentagon." Main terrorist leaders, most notiably Bin Laden himself, were trained in the US by the CIA and given weapons to fight a terrorist war against invading Soviet forces in the 1980's. that's where terrorist organisations have gotten alot of weapons from, and their training as well. read up on your history, man.
TherealMrChristophel 1 year ago
@ShenMerrick Just read through your convo with TherealMrChristopher, he is right about everything and you are incredibly arrogant to him and yet all your facts are wrong. You clearly state you have read about Islam in the bible when it was not founded for hundreds of years after the bible. You think the CIA in the middle east happened in 1947 when Bin Laden was born in 1957 and he was clearly talking about The USSR invasion of Afgan in 1979. Learn some fact before mocking others.

TherealMrChristophel 11 months ago
@TherealMrChristophel cant agree with that. the KKK is the kook fringe of christianity who even hate other chrisitans more than blacks (catholics). there numbers are tiny, their evil is limited. with over 10,000 terrorist attacks since 9/11 all of them by muslim terrorists, its is not analagous.
BTW i personally believe that the average muslim is not a terrorist. Personally I would find another religion to worship God through, or make another version of islam, that does not involve mohammed.
havock89 11 months ago
@havock89 in the 1920's the KKK boasted around 6 million members. that's twice the population of Mongolia. thankfully now there is only around 4500 but in the 20's the Klan ruled the South. police officers, judges and even govenors formed their ranks. also that "other version of Islam" is pretty much christianity, their teachings are more or less identicle until the new testiment, and even then Muhammad is not the one at fault in islam, it's those who came after him, the warlords and so on.
TherealMrChristophel 11 months ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@TherealMrChristophel Mohammed was THE warlord, its his example all islamists follow, its his claim to be an "excellent example" in the quran that damns islam. Also protestant chrisitanity is not the majority of christianity and constitutes the kook fringe. Personally I would still find another religion to worship God through, or make another version of islam, that does not involve mohammed.
havock89 11 months ago
@havock89 and even then those at the very top of terrorist organisations are not fighting for Islam, they are using it to turn the young men into fanatics and warping their minds to make them fight for their own political agendas. Bin Laden and the rest of them are not upset over Islam, they're upset over how a big chunk of palestinian land was given to the Jews and how the new Israel state went on to attack all of it's neighbours, causing them to attack it and so forth.
TherealMrChristophel 11 months ago
@TherealMrChristophel But they claim they are, and islam gives them the motive and the means to do so.
Palestine surrendered to the allied forces, specifically England in WWII. Serves them right for supporting hitler. Israel got rocket shells first from their neighbours, and the palestinians were expecting to win the 6 day war because they had numbers on their side. I guess Israel had God on their side.
havock89 11 months ago
@havock89 not even remotly true. Palestine had bee nconquered by the Ottoman Turks centuaries before, and was then conquered by Britain at the end of World War I (when Hitler was still a Corpral, in a military hospital). The Palestinians never supported Hitler. also what i'm saying is that Bin Laden is abusing Islam and using it to fanaticise young men to fight for him. Suicide of any kind, let alone bombing, is condemed by the Qu'ran.
TherealMrChristophel 11 months ago
@TherealMrChristophel Sorry, the grand mufti of palistine Haj Amin Al-Husseini was an ally of hitlers during WWII the rest is not relevant.
havock89 11 months ago
@havock89 he couldn't have been, as palestine belonged to the British.
TherealMrChristophel 11 months ago
@havock89 also it's not about who started it, it's the fact that both sides have started wars, and now Israel, instead of fighting, has begun to quietly steal Palestinian lands, erase any traces of them and claim it as their own. You may have heard of a scandle over the Israeli government removing ancient Palestinian gravestones and replacing them with fake Jewish ones? don't get me wrong i am entirly in favour of the idea of a jewish state, i just don't agree with their forgien policys.
TherealMrChristophel 11 months ago
@TherealMrChristophel I can get behind most of what you are saying here, but it does matter who started it. Its the thinking that its wrong to throw the first punch but right to throw the second.
havock89 11 months ago
@havock89 ah yes but before Israel became a country there was a lot of hate from both sides.
TherealMrChristophel 11 months ago
@TherealMrChristophel Yeah the jews hated being treated as Dhimmi, forced to wear yellow belts and head dress to declare the subjugation by sharia. Haj Amin Al-Husseini gave hitler the idea to mark the jews with a yellow start of david. Everyone hates everyone in the middle east. I dont know what it is about that place, but there is no peace there, no civility, only rule by intimidation and the iron fist. Very sad.
havock89 11 months ago
@havock89 that is rediculous. jews have been force to wear special clothes to single them out since Shakespear's time and hundreads of years prior. also you still aren't getting it. It was British, under British rule, British Law and His Majesty the King. Not the "Mufti" character you've brought up.
TherealMrChristophel 11 months ago
@TherealMrChristophel I dont deny that the jews in the diaspora were forced to wear red head-dress in european countries. Another effect of the influence of islam on the western world. I am also no whitewashing the history of the jews either, I know they have been very hateful in the past, also.
havock89 11 months ago

@TherealMrChristophel Agreed, and islam gives them motive and means to insight others do so.

@thomaserossi: Atheism , that's why nazi soldiers wore "Gott mitt uns" on their belt buckles..? I've studied the history of MY continent for more than 10 years.

@TherealMrChristophel Yes all religion is pointless and letting it go would save lifes
and btw islam and christianity both have exremist views in their books so just because there are some good religious people does not excuse the injustice on woman the koran preaches
pandasftuw 9 months ago
@pandasftuw first of all *lives, second of all the Qur'an does not say anything about women being forced to wear veils or being in any way inferior to men. also yes, religion can cause problems, sometimes fatal one, being scottish i know that. but humans need religion. we need the tooth fairys. we need the santa clauses. we need the small lies so that we can believe in the big ones. religion inspires great acts of kindness and charity and of art and education.
TherealMrChristophel 9 months ago
@TherealMrChristophel I don't agree that we "need" religion, tooth fairies, and the like. Men wrote the doctrines of religion... And the bible isn't some great, moral book. Religion CAN inspire great acts of kindness, but it also inspires hate, discrimination, misogyny, and many other horrible things.
AncientsReborn 8 months ago
@AncientsReborn i know the bible is not literally the word of god. the capacity to hate is not created by religion. it's an innate human faculity. kindness, hate, discrimination, charity and wisdom all bound up into one thing is human-kind all over.
TherealMrChristophel 8 months ago
@pandasftuw in the middle ages, whilst Europe stagnated the middle east was a utopia, driven by science, reason and understanding. it was truly a golden age. in Cairo Muslims, Jews and Christians lived together in harmony. Thinker of all three of these faiths worked together to translate and understand the writings of the greeks, works that were burnt as "pagan" and "satanic" in europe. beautiful palaces were built and works of art created. who knows what we could be losing to war.

SpringChatty 5 months ago
@SpringChatty because it's a little thick. i'm sayiny that Islamic extremists are using their religion as an excuse to kill, similar to how the KKK use Christianity as a justification to kill and torture, and that there is so much more to Islam then terrorists like there is so much more to Christianity than the KKK.
TherealMrChristophel 5 months ago
@TherealMrChristophel The KKK are bad, but would have to go a very, very long way, to even scract the surface, of the killings done by muslims, and the KKK dont blow their own people up, so that's one thing in their favour. The KKK are still bad though, before someone tries to say they are good.
ForYeGo 2 weeks ago
@ForYeGo well no, during the height of the KKK in the 20s there was over 4 million members. when you consider that AT PRESENT the population of Mongolia is 3 million that is simply mind blowing. The KKK didn't fight in the South, as there was no opposition, everybody was either on their side, too frightened to do anything or in the pocket. They RULED with an iron fist of terror. Also Muslims don't kill people, terrorists do. All Muslims aren't terrorists and no terrorists are true Muslims.
TherealMrChristophel 2 weeks ago
@TherealMrChristophel The terrorists, know they are the true muslims, so this will never end. That is what brainwashing does, and without islam, most terrorists, would not exist. Catch 22 comes to mind. What would you think of, as the best solution ?
ForYeGo 2 weeks ago
@ForYeGo Terrorists do not know themselves to be true Muslims, they believe themselves to be true Muslims, there's a big difference. As I have stated many times before the problem here is not Islam, no more than the problem that results in groups like the KKK is Christianity, it's hatred, on both sides. What needs to happen is that people, Jews, Christians, Muslims and atheists need to work together, firstly to create a real and lasting peace between Israel and Palestine.
TherealMrChristophel 2 weeks ago
@TherealMrChristophel Secondly, to repair the damage done to relations. Try to stop young men turing to extremeism as they feel it's the only way to make their veiw heard and stop the leaders perverting religion to push their political agenda.

ForYeGo 2 weeks ago
@ForYeGo Because, despite its faults, religion does encourage great acts of kindness, beauty and generally, I believe we as a species are richer for it. Hatred is not caused by religion, it's caused by small mindedness. It is entirely possible for religions to co-exist peacefully. I mean ask yourself, Why is it that many Bible-Bashers like the WBC are also generally increadibly stupid? It's because they are small minded and using the religion asa rationalisation for their hatred.
TherealMrChristophel 2 weeks ago
@TherealMrChristophel Ask yourself, Do they hate homosexuality, because God, supposedly, hates it, or because they themselves find it repulsive? It's akin to the Euthyphro Dilemma, is something morally wrong upon its own merits, and God or the Gods are merely pointing that out as an example of something that's morally wrong, or is it morally wrong BECAUSE God or the Gods say it is? Basically, would the WBC have a problem with homosexuality even if God was perfectly fine with it? I think Yes.

Note MRs Imam never responded as to why that location was chosen. In India, Israel, Turkey and myriad other locations muslims build mosques on others' holy sites. This is not coincidence. @UnitedKingdomify well... im intrigued that you feel that you know how the fundamentalists will view the mosque without actually knowing that. have you talked to a large number of islamic fundamentalists recently? and how would they view it as a "victory" if the mosque doesnt actually espouse fundamentalist views? what happens when they start preaching peace and love in this mosque? just what the terrorists want huh
xmastershake 1 year ago
@xmastershake Perhaps we have our wires crossed when it comes to the word "fundie". I'm thinking of the mindset that permits men and women to strap explosives to their chests in order to obliterate the innocent people surrounding them. Those people flying aircraft into buildings.
Those who have declared war in 'infidels'. It's not a stretch to imagine their glee at having a shrine to their God in the place of their most successful attack on the infidel.
Preaching peace my ASS. #FAIL
UnitedKingdomify 1 year ago
@xmastershake The religion itself is geared toward violence, conversion, and conquest. As it sings the praises of its violent Prophet. Only if you look really, REALLY hard, and become ignorant to the passages you don't like and choose to mentally omit, can you find the peace it preaches.
UnitedKingdomify 1 year ago
@UnitedKingdomify you think over a billion muslims are violent and out to conquer us? maybe you really do live on a separate world. the things you mentioned are exactly what separate the fundamentalists from the common contemporary muslim. my question still stands, why would a common muslim mosque be viewed as a sign of victory, or conquest, if its just a community center? trust me, if theres a shred of fundamentalism coming from that mosque it'll be shut down faster than you can type a response
xmastershake 1 year ago
@xmastershake What aren't you getting about the word FUNDIE? Empathise for a moment will you. Put yourself in THEIR shoes, it's genuinely not that difficult. The FUNDIES, not the common Muslim. As a fundie you would put a negative spin on anything to favour your cause. Tell me how building a shrine at the site of the attack can have anything but a positive impact on the FUNDIE and their recruitment drive?! Let me know.
It won't be coming from THAT Mosque! But its very existence is enough.
UnitedKingdomify 1 year ago
@UnitedKingdomify oh and one more thing, to your other dumb comment, the one that said "As a fundie you would put a negative spin on anything to favour your cause". yeah youre probably right. they can put a negative spin on ANYTHING. so why make a big deal out of a mosque, when they have unlimited ammunition (according to you) anyway? why should we change our freedoms around to worry about some fucking fundamentalists? grow some balls
xmastershake 1 year ago
@xmastershake It's not about changing freedoms. It's about not building a holy temple on the site of a place attacked in the name of the religion it represents. I said the religion does not promote peace and coexistence with non-Muslims. That doesn't mean every Muslim in sight is gonna attack you. It means deep down they either want you to convert or want you gone. In the meantime they'll hold you in disdain, and even be friendly about it.
UnitedKingdomify 1 year ago
@xmastershake I grew up with British Muslims. Pakistani, but third generation British. They are Muslim before they are British, and when you've spoken as candidly as we have about it, then you can talk to me about how well you know their core beliefs.
Fundies: Putting a spin on anything to favour their cause is all well and good. You called it ammo, great. BB Gun pellets = No mosque. Propaganda nuke = Mosque.
You seen the marches I mentioned, against the fundie actions? Any meaningful protest?
UnitedKingdomify 1 year ago
@xmastershake No. Never. It wouldn't happen. Just keep watching those lacklustre condemnation speeches on your nightly news, from Muslim rep 101. Can't expect any hearty, passionate protest against fundie actions from the Muslim community, because, essentially, there really isn't a passionate reaction to hearing about infidels getting owned.
UnitedKingdomify 1 year ago
@UnitedKingdomify you have no idea what youre talking about. there would be no "propaganda nuke" had this not become such a drama in the first place. all this hype was meant to do was stir up fear and mistrust among people who already live together. you obviously bought into it. which makes you a tool. its not about their reaction to "infidels getting owned" at all. its about our policies and our country. im not buying into the hysteria like you are
xmastershake 1 year ago
@xmastershake Yeah it's poxy little reports like these that I buy into, not the fact that the freedom you talk about tend not to apply when opposing Islam. But passing laws of blasphemy, because Muslims are threatening to kill certain authors (can't say anything negative about it [freedom of speech]), that's fine, banning certain images because Muslims are rioting in the sreets (meaning you can't make fun of it [freedom of expression]), that's fine.
Yeah.. I'm just confused and hysterical.
UnitedKingdomify 1 year ago
@UnitedKingdomify you wont find me supporting those angry muslims. you will find me, as you have, supporting their right to have a mosque among countless other religious institutions in this country
xmastershake 1 year ago
@xmastershake But my point about the religion itself, how anti-everything-non-muslim it is. It's still true. At its heart you can see it, and you will NEVER, EVER see a thousand strong parade of Muslims marching in protest against anything but Western opinions they have deemed offensive to Islam. Odd how they can't muster that kind of passion when there are people destroying themselves and others in the name of it. You don't see huge parades of Muslims going: "Not In Our Name! etc. Ever.
UnitedKingdomify 1 year ago
@xmastershake You'll get exactly one spokesperson from each Muslim organisation in the United States stating on television, "This is not Islam. These are not Muslims. Of course we condemn these attacks." With exactly zer0 emotion. How many times have you seen parades raising awareness about the negative preaching of Islam? These REAL Muslims you speak of, peaceful and righteous, man they ARE quiet! But how people automatically sing their praises having seen so little of them, it's astonishing.
UnitedKingdomify 1 year ago
@xmastershake In fact. FInd me a video on YouTube that has a message of peace, from a REAL Muslim. Saying things like "coexist" and "together" (meaning embracing other people, religions etc) rather than "Islam is the only way to peace" or "turn to Islam".
I haven't tried but I'm guessing it's difficult. You can post a link to the vid in my comments or something. =D
UnitedKingdomify 1 year ago
@UnitedKingdomify thats the dumbest thing ever heard. why not just talk to a regular muslim dude that doesnt promote violence? theres plenty out there in the UK. ive met a few here in the US. theyre nice people. and guess what? by being here in the US/UK, they ARE "coexisting" with us! i even saw one at the grocery store! how crazy is that? maybe you should venture out of your computer room once in a while, buddy

You are wrong Cenk.
Lobos222 1 year ago
@Lobos222 Which is what we need. Good PR beats the alternative
freakyfatdog 1 year ago
Yeah, Cenk. Nobody cared.

End of story. Whats the argument? The teabaggers want the Holy State of Obama to rebuke free market capitalism in the name of America?

I was talking to gf's mother yesterday about this. And I had to explain to her, what it actaully was...
She's a very nice, and very smart lady, but she had been watching to much MSM.
Once I told her it wasn't a mosque, not actaully at ground zero, and opened to everyone (not just Muslims) she didn't think it was a big deal.

He did the same with newspapers in the UK.

Hey, I have an idea: since the left can't defend building a mosque at Ground Zero, let's play incomplete, deliberately edited clips of conservative talk show hosts and try to discredit them.
Oh...I see they're already doing that. Thanks again, Young Turds.

@wimscheers Did the Young Turds play the entire interview? Did they play the segments of the interview where Laura TOTALLY expresses her objections while at the same time being complimentary to the other person? No. Typical, dishonest, snarky, personal, horseshit from you statists. Let's be clear: this is nothing more than an attempt to divert our attention from the real issue: a radical Muslim "Imam" is building a mosque near Ground Zero.
dmreeoogdaq 1 year ago
@dmreeoogdaq "Did the Young Turds play the entire interview? Did they play the segments of the interview where Laura TOTALLY expresses her objections while at the same time being complimentary to the other person?"
Well you know what you can do? You can put those segments up to show how the turks were being deceitful.
Not to say you are lying. But I'm confused how Ingrahm can say this is "wonderful" and then say she objects to it.
& how is this guy radical again?

" play the entire interview?" You're kidding right? Do you seriously think all opinion programs should play any clip in full, all the time?
But here, the full interview; New Islamic Mosque at Ground Zero? (12.21.09)
And I'm a bit at a loss here. Where exactly does she come anywhere near the aggressive attacks we’re seeing today? The whole segments was “you're a great bunch, but your husband said something I disagree with, could he retract so we'd all be bestest friends again?”

Cant blame the video for what YOU choose to hear or not hear.
birthdaynick80 1 year ago
@birthdaynick80 Since you must have listened the entire clip, would you kindly let me know the exact time she said "I support a ground zero mosque."
americanchristian10 1 year ago
@americanchristian10 2:40-2:45, it's not her stating it verbatim but it's her supporting Daisy who just went on about having that center near ground zero.
Her stating that "I support a Ground Zero Mosque" isn't even valid point to state as you're trying to do, because it's not a Mosque it's a Community Center that will have both room for prayer and exercise. And you dont need to pray in order to use the B-ball court. Listening is not the same as hearing. please learn the difference.
birthdaynick80 1 year ago
@birthdaynick80 I don't think you have to pray to use toilets in that building anyway. The fact is that Laura never supported a Ground Zero "Mosque". So, Laura Ingraham 'Mosque' Hypocrisy? "Listening is not the same as hearing. please learn the difference." I like that. You got a PhD in English from Harvard or Oxford or what? Just curious as I am not as highly educated as you are.
americanchristian10 1 year ago

Laura specifically said she supported this woman's efforts. This woman efforts include the establishment of the islamic community center. What do you think Laura was referring to when she said the guest "was doing a good thing"?
11111110 1 year ago
@11111110 I am not Laura and can't speak on her behalf as well. You can ask her directly to clarify the matter. I don't make random interpretations of other people's words as the young Turks always do.
americanchristian10 1 year ago
@americanchristian10
11111110 1 year ago

@americanchristian10 You believe this country was founded on "Christian" beliefs, could you please direct us to where it says in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence that the fundamental belief system of America is to be "Christian". Fascinating how prot based Christian denominations were afraid of US falling under a Theocracy of the Roman Church, now afraid of Muslims;Do you believe it to be more sound if the Theologies of Beck or Palin be the way to run the country? lol
ArtetlaMusique87 1 year ago
@ArtetlaMusique87 If I am not mistaken, I believe it was founded by Christians, unless you can prove that it was founded by Muslims, atheists, Buddhists, or Jews. I wonder if you are an American religious history professor from Harvard. You know so much about America afraid of falling under various theocracies.
americanchristian10 1 year ago
@americanchristian10 The US will never be ruled by Sharia. That is deep seeded fear of the C fundamentalists; as you have been in the past re other religions and races. You seem to have selective memory re the Timothy McVeigh Oklahoma bombing, he was a Christian, and lets see here, Far right republican's (who are a high percentage of fundamentalist Christians) are calling for violence against the President of the United States. You don't find that to be as disturbing as fundamentalist Muslims?
ArtetlaMusique87 1 year ago
@ArtetlaMusique87 Well, I really have no idea of current world events as I do not watch CNN International. Timothy McVeigh slaughtered 168 people in the name of Christianity and called for the death of non-Christians. Alright. I am not sure if you keep up with American events over the past few years when some extreme leftists called President Bush all sorts of "terrible things". I don't even dare to mention them as a Christian. You don't find that to be as disturbing as fundamentalist Muslims?
americanchristian10 1 year ago
@americanchristian10 That's the problem w many Americans, they base their mis- information of opinions off of main stream media, or the preacher man, instead of looking at outside sources or educating themselves with different perspectives; Our media ( even left wing) does not give us the full blown story. Ya see ,if you don't know any sort of history re occupation and wars, you are going to have a narrow minded view of things. You can still love your country but disagree with its policies.
ArtetlaMusique87 1 year ago
@ArtetlaMusique87 As if you are the only one who realizes that phenomenon.
americanchristian10 1 year ago
@americanchristian10 How was the country "founded" by Christians? Pilgrims? Quakers? The Native Americans were here before 'anyone' was; Archeology findings have found that Irish Monks and Vikings were here before Columbus was. If you want to know history re WHY the founders made it so NO religion was the law of the land, you have to look to Europe and the reformation etc; Wars were mostly about religion.
ArtetlaMusique87 1 year ago
@ArtetlaMusique87 Alright, the Native Americans, Irish Monks, Vikings and Columbus altogether founded the new nation of the United States of America? I believe that dinosaurs and some other primitive animals founded this "land" well before any of the groups you mentioned.
americanchristian10 1 year ago
@americanchristian10 What do dinosaurs have to do with anything. They were not human beings, I'd say you are getting off point. lol
ArtetlaMusique87 1 year ago
@ArtetlaMusique87 So are the groups you mentioned. None of them ever founded the United States of America.
americanchristian10 1 year ago
@americanchristian10 What makes the basis of a "founding of a country? " Christian beliefs? You people want to cling on to that so bad, you use it for a political motive to push your religion on others, as if it means to be a "great American" you are to be a Christian and a Christian only. That's not what the founding fathers drafted in the Constitution. So to base your belief that the country was founded on Christian beliefs is nothing more than wishful thinking.
