So at your job you may make 50c an hour.. but those 50c would be worth more than what you make today because it would be valued differently.. thats the way it used to be.. Yes people made less in "dollar" amounts but that dollar bought them a hell of a lot more than it does today..

The only thing I disagree with is at 1:25 where he sarcastically says money comes from nothing. It does come from nothing. It's a simple piece of cotton that's printed simply because world "leaders" allow it. This financial system isn't based on material, such as gold, anymore. A Democracy is the Majority ruling the Minority as we see now in Washington. The Democrats have the majority in the house and senate and they are feverishly trying to ram their agenda through while they have that majority. (Socialized Healthcare, Cap & Trade, etc.)
A 3rd Party like a 3 branch government makes that more difficult to accomplish, thereby protecting us from the usurpation of freedom by our two party system, to a greater extent.

One of the few times I'd disagree with you. The country is not divided in two ways. It's much more complicated than that. Only the fringe partisan element looks for a (D) or (R) next to a name or policy before supporting (or bashing) them or it. The vast majority of Americans are not that way. They can see a person or an issue on it's own merits, not by the political party backing it. I welcome 3rd (hell, even 4th, 5th and 6th) option to choose from.

@AmericaTops u dont get it.. If it were backed by gold, it would just be a lesser amount than what is currently valued.. and the money would be stronger.. So an ounce of gold would be say, $1M. So at your job you may make 50c an hour.. but those 50c would be worth more than what you make today because it would be valued differently.. thats the way it used to be.. Yes people made less in "dollar" amounts but that dollar bought them a hell of a lot more than it does today..

The only thing I disagree with is at 1:25 where he sarcastically says money comes from nothing. It does come from nothing. It's a simple piece of cotton that's printed simply because world "leaders" allow it. This financial system isn't based on material, such as gold, anymore. It based off of other pieces of paper that you sign saying you will pay it back + interest, DEBT. Nothing more, just debt.

With three political parties, the winner in almost all elections would get less than 50% of the vote, maybe only about 35%.
There are MANY barriers to establishing a viable 3rd party.

Best thing instead of having a third party to further divide us, we should clean up the GOP and vote out whiny "moderates" who vote with the Dims 9 times out of 10. Anytime a strong conservative runs in your state or district, you not only vote for them, but encourage others to do the same. That's how we get the Republican party back to its roots. Not by nominating some third party person nobody's ever heard of and who has less of a chance of winning then Michael Moore does losing weight.

What is it with Libs and Rush Limbaugh. I've only gotten a chance to listen to a few of his broadcasts and he clearly will bash republicans along with democrats. Its a liberal talking point to bash Limbaugh, I guess they fear the fact that he has about 20 million listeners. But Like golfvilla said, he is no politician and was not elected. Saying that Limbaugh is the leader of the Reps is like saying Keith Oberman is the leader of the Dems simply because he's a liberal progressive. Utter nonsense

Never had the black vote? You might want to refresh up on your history. Through out history is was the Republicans that stood up for civil rights and black suffrage. It wasn't until recently that the Democrats gained the black vote.

as a conservative, i actually think the republicans are worse at times.
at least the democrats are HONEST in the fact that they want to shred the constitution and get us toward communism. the RINOs, on the other hand, claim they support the constitution while destroying it. i do agree we don't want a third party, but we need to get rid of those RINOs (Arlen Specter leaving the GOP is a good sign).

One of the few times I'd disagree with you. The country is not divided in two ways. It's much more complicated than that. Only the fringe partisan element looks for a (D) or (R) next to a name or policy before supporting (or bashing) them or it. The vast majority of Americans are not that way. They can see a person or an issue on it's own merits, not by the political party backing it. I welcome 3rd (hell, even 4th, 5th and 6th) option to choose from.

I do not know where you are located, BUT, I am positive it is not in the NYC megalopolis area. Here you cannot be elected UNLESS you are a Democrat, with the odd exception that proves the rule! These exceptions are usually elected after a particularly egregious Dem is dumped. Burt one or two elections later...people return to the fold.

This ain't about health insurance. EVERYONE wants some sort of affordable health care. Conservatives just don't want the government running it. Post ofice? $4 billion in debt. fed Ex and UPS Big time profits yet most of their services are cheaper. if the government ran thigs so well, Fed Ex and UPS wouldn't be IN business. There are LOTS of government businesses that fail where the private sector prospers. COMPETITION will make better health care prices, not government take-over.

There is no such thing as the destruction of a "class." We are a country of Individuals, we have more millionaires now than ever, we consider our poverty line at something like $35,000 or below which is way more than most citizens of foreign countries ever dream to make. Under Reagan we had the largest peace time economic growth in world history. Read up about FDR and his programs of expanding our Federal government, you will see that the destruction began there.

I believe you are combining two terms with the same meaning. Conservative does "not" equal Republican. The Republicans lost credibility, conservatism hasn't. But you are on to something with your comments. Many republicans like to call themselves conservatives when they are no more conservative than Rachel Maddow. They use the term to gain votes, and in the case of someone who is not politically astute it may confuse them about what conservatism is.

He said this in every interview and in every debate. He said he would destroy Al Queda, he massively increased troops, spent billions, and will further escalate it .
