I dropped my phone from about 0.5m and its ligth behind screen got down. I got new phone from nokia and this works fine after 3m drop and glass of water.
The samsung B2100 is more durable, but I don't like the samsung Interface, and this nokia 3720 is a modern phone with fast interwebs, a reasonable camera and as many maps on it as you want. I use about 2 phone's a year because i'm quite careless with them so I hope this one lasts longer.
No. That's just the input hatch, wich you open to plug in handsfree or usb cable. It's not a crack. If that was a crack, the phone wouldn't be known as shock-proof anymore. Trust me. I have that phone.
@Wambo07 Oh... Now i see it. Well how is that possible? It has happened repeated similar things to my 3720c, and it never cracks open... Production errors i suppose?
mikelwafu123... Samsung B2100 is cheaper and stronger. I'm sure that the B2100 will be fine after those tests... Nokia has better screen (bigger, better quality and resolution) but the battery ... max 4 days i think. Samsung 10 days. B2100 has IP57 and US Army certificate... NOkia has only IP54. For me... Samsung is stronger and BETTER!

if you need just a good working phone for evryday which should last long this is very good.
the samsung b2100 is better if you want a really tough phone.
