@dragonmastershow haha!...give the person a break lol....we all do it....its still nice to hear others reaffirming what the man Charles Bronson was..wikipedia and other links show us that..he didnt get his hard man image for nothing..but its nice to see youtube users reminding some YOUNGER youtube viewers who he was ...watching this clip does get the goose bumps up and emotions flowing!...this scene is without doubt one of cinemas finest..i still prefer Claudia lol!..cheers!
In an interview, Claudia Cardinale said that during the filming, Bronson kept to himself and would sit on his actor's chair, staring straight ahead, absolutely silent for hours at a time. I also knew someone who knew Bronson in his early years when he was named Charles Bushinsky, and he said he was the man you saw on the screen.
Great film...and ending..although if it was me i would of married Claudia Cardinale right away and given her a dozen kids!..jeeze she was hot...still alive bless her lovely feminine soul....so many things made this film so special..the acting the script the music and way it was filmed..classic isnt a big enough word..the music is so haunting and in touch with the film it always gives me goose bumps to watch and listen...i still would of kissed teh shit out of Claudia Cardinale at this scene lol!
When Bronson turns and looks back at Cardinale and tells her "someday" you can FEEL the denouement of the entire movie in that 3 seconds. Leone's masterpiece is so because not of what is said but what is not said or left unsaid. The look on Cardinale's face and Bronson fills several pages of dialog without saying a word. This entire film is jaw dropping in its epic scope and its narrative. A masterpiece in every sense of the word...
This movie is moving up FAST in the rankings of great films for ALL film "snobs".
The moments between when Jill hears Harmonica walking in to when he leaves are a masterpiece in film making.
In those moments without any dialogue between Jill and Harmonica and just their facial expressions (mainly Cardinale's) are what EVERY filmmaker strives for in "show don't tell".

"......someday." The passing from one era to another in America.
One of the best movies ever made.

Charles Bronson WAS the character he portrayed. He did not have to act hard, tough nails, silent and resolute. He really was that way
