Haha, I never would have thought anything of this before, but after watching Alan Davies' "Live at the Lyric" standup comedy act here on youtube (specifically part 4/7), every time I rewatch this episode I giggle at 9:09. He gets there first... and then waits, with gentlemanly concern for her health and safety. (Also the look of concentration on his face as he follows her up. Brace yourself, Jonathan.)
