There is one consolation about getting old, or rather maturing, all that hassle of chasing after Eros in ones 20s, 30s and 40s gives way to something more enduring and with greater depth. Give me that anytime!

Yes, Eros is famous for letting one down. Now Philia that's a partner you can count on. The way I've heard of it is that one can use that wonderful eros energy by letting it rise up the spinal column to the brain to turn on the light-----sometimes called enlightenment or waking up. And then what? Who knows what could happen?
