this is the Sugamo child abandonment case. this movie is less grim than the real story. theres actually another child but the child died soon after birth and the mother just hid the body in the apartment.

Simply beautiful and sad in one package, and the sadest things are these are trully happened, why in the world a sweet little girl had to suffer like that. I like the end of the movie, how they try to continue to leave on, i want to salute the real children whom this movies were brought up, Hey hollywood!!!! why you keep making shit movies...try to make a movie like this, stop making bullshit and absurdly impossible american dramas like sexy and the city that are for me must go into trash cans

But real story was that the youngest girl was only two years old when she was killed by her oldest brother and his friends while her mortal wound was by one of the brother's friend.

The result of child neglect is such a burden for children.

Beautiful film!!! Although I don't like the subtitles in this version..They are a little unnatural... they just don't do justice to the dialog.The version I watched had excellent subtitles, I could really tell that the translator thought about every single word, and how best to preserve the feel of the original language.These subtitles are just too Hollywood-style and just not appropriate for a film such as this, which focuses on dialog between family members/friends in a different culture...

This movie is beautiful because those children are just amazingly strong inside...but it's sad that their futures are forever marred due to their mother's irresponsible behavior. Shame on the mom.

i watched this movie and its now one of my favorites it not like every other movie that have happy ending its real because in life theirs not always a happy ending but this movie made me sad i did want to cry but i didnt because well i try to stay happy so everyone can be happy around me plus in the movie the children didnt cry they went along without feeling sorry for their self and that is very great thing to be proud of this is one of the best movies ive seen in awhile ^_^
