Like you said 1-dimensional and 0-dimensional objects only exist in theory, HOWEVER, in theory you would STILL be able to see a 1-dimensional object as a single straight line. ever played a video game where they use sprites?

if you walk around them you notice they are flat.

at some when walking around them they will disappear, because the angle you look at them is so sharp, that they seem to be invisible.

now think of a line. a line has no width and no depth. it is so "thin"(its not really thin since it doesnt occupy any space to begin with) that its invisible.

thats the whole point.
