@WishmasterTheDark What....? Anthrax is not weak, listen to their new album. Pantera NEVER sold out. Other than that those bands probably fit your definition.
ah, bands like Pantera, Lamb Of God, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Anthrax, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Shadows Fall, Metallica, Slayer etc.
@WishmasterTheDark so basically commercial bands. i dont like their music either (excluding some early stuff). Problem is that most folks falsely think that only commercial bands are good and refuse to give other bands a try :(
bands i just mentioned are not Heavy Metal music at all, like BFM, A7X, LP, LB, and some of them are sellouts like Anthrax, Metallica, Slayer.
Bands that are not Heavy Metal music, but are labeled like thy are, that's called mallcore. And they contain elements of rap/pop/electronic etc, so many non-Heavy Metal people can listen to them.
@WishmasterTheDark Bullet For My Valentine, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit... It's hard for me to imagine grouping those bands with true metal epics like these guys.
Yesterday i heard a version of die by the blade by savage grace from 1983, battle cry was released 1984. now i wonder which one is the original version? Kenny powell played in both bands this time, right?
@totalmetalmaniac its got to be Chris Logue's song. he's the mastermind of Savage Grace, and i wouldn't be surprised if Powell took it after asking. im really curious as well.
Thanks for your comment, mate. I had uploaded these videos long time ago, and had many views, but I got my account suspended for copyright, so I had to do all the work again :(
i may be the only 14 year old on this video

I don't why people here mention these mallcore bands, which are not connected with Heavy Metal music.

@totalmetalmaniac P.S. I like this version with J.D. but John Birk is just epic on SG's version! =]
ToxicDeath91 9 months ago
@totalmetalmaniac I believed Powell quit SG because they didn't like his songs enough for the records.
