I got a question i havent started driving yet, and im lookin at buyin a z32 300zx, and i was just wandering how does the car handle at high speeds and launch. Does it loose control easy? i was asking because my friend who drives a pretty fast wrx stage 3 ( infact we were outlast night on new years eve and walked a 69 camaro ss with it) was saying 300zx's were bad because of the rear wheel drive. of course i argued with him and told him a z32 would burn him. but i was just askin

@THEJDMLIFE for the age of the car it has very great handling, even compared to cars in this day and age. wrx u say?? wrx are great cars but there awd. Meaning there great off the line but not so good when it gets to 100+mph. depending on the amount of mods u shouldnt have that much of a problem walking all over it even with his awd. u can thank the twin turbos for the fast spool.

P.S. even with minor bolt on's and a ecu u can easily get 400+ hp right off the bat with the TT. hope this helps.

@THEJDMLIFE 300zx is great handling car. Can do 10's with easy mods, theres actually a stock motor/ stock turbo Z doing high 10's .. lol. You just need money, either if you are gonna race a geo metro, a Lada, a wrx or a 300zx. IMHO, RWD > AWD. But it also depends what you wanna use the car for. You can make a FWD run 9's ..

@THEJDMLIFE The Z32s handle great. The Z32 has the super HICAS steering. From 30-70 mph it angles the rear wheels depending on how you turn the front ones.  The turbos have a touring and a sport setting so yeah it has amazing handling. When I throw it into a corner I always catch myself turning the wheel too much because the rear wheels help so much. Launches are difficult until you learn how to do them well because it has positraction.

@THEJDMLIFE Yeah these cars handle great at any speed....even the nonturbos are great because of their ability to handle well at high speed. Actually IMHO the NA handle better because of the longer wheel base....although they dont have the power to beat a tuned wrx, the TT does. And just as a point....all the old muscle cars....as bad as they were (and i love them too) can be beaten by a modern civic or accord....they really arent that fast anymore.

@THEJDMLIFE 300zx's are built for handeling. Ive driven a WRX STI and dont get me wrong they are amazing vehicles but the interior is crappy but yeah they are quick cars and amazing in launches and shit from awd but a 300zx is way more fun cause of rwd. the weight distribution is almost exactly 50/50 with the engine being as far back in the front as possible. So yes 300's can handle great bone stock.

However, yes Hondas can be very fast. In fact, any car can be as fast as you want it to be - but ultimately you need money. I can make a geo metro a 7 second car with $300,000 im sure lol.

@Roosterhair1993 A 2 step rev limiter or launch control cuts engine spark, as opposed to a stock rev limiter cutting fuel, so with a 2 step you are sending unburned fuel into the exhaust which can ignite in the pipes and cause the black smoke/flames that people love to show off.

question bro- I got a ZX TT over here in the UK and I fitted a Bee*R, but when on 9/F gain to make pops my car missfires for 10-20 seconds after, doesn't happen on any of the other settings - is this consistent with yours?

@dlongmu I dont think it sounds right. I mean, I dont recommend trying it while your car misses for almost 20 seconds after? Id check connections, fuel, spark plugs, coils, coil connectors, injectors, turbos.
