what a big difference from the first time kate blewett went there, these nurses look like they care,i hope it stays like this away from the cameras, vasky looks so much happier now because if she had stayed in moglinio she would have died, the director should be prosecuted
i like how she says that few of the girls there are virgins and the male staff maybe lazy but they wouldn't touch the girls BULLSHIT BITCH? i watch all the video's and the male's that live there to be don't seem like they would know what to do in sex. GO TO HELL AND DIE BITCH
oh you put fucking umbrella's round a fucking swimming pool. and what about teaching them to speak, live socially. you care only about money. To be honest your money has made you become even more blind than those who suffer medically from blindness
After seeing the original programme and having special needs children myself it was absolutely diabolical and I wrote to the bbc and to complain against their plight they forwarded my letter it is a step forward that Didi and Vasky and people like them have the right to live as human beings it was nice to see didi getting on and Vasky progressing!May god bless them all
I'm happy for the orphans that are happy now. But there's so much work to do! I feel so sorry for the orphans who remaining stil in these mental houses... I wish I could help them
My heart has shattered into a million pieces and then swelled, about to burst with happiness. So grateful people had the courage to speak out and fight for better futures for these children... Those smiling laughing faces... I will never forget them.
After I saw the first programme I wondered what would happen to them..whether their lives would get better or whether they would still even be alive :( Its so good to see the change in them and how well they look now something has been done and they are getting the treatment, care and the attention they deserved and badly needed. Thank god there are some good people in this world!!
Vasky sounds great! Just goes to show she could have been a normal little girl all this time if someone would have simply talked and paid attention to her and her needs.
why invest in three umbrellas for a pool she knows the children never, ever get to swim in? and she has the gall to claim that she's good at what she does? if she's anything but bad then i'm the fucking pope.
I cannot believe that all the people at Molgilino were all so willing to let Vasky live with a broken leg and die of malnutrition and let the other child's hand rot off with gangrene.
OMG Vasky actually sounds like a child instead of a husky old person it all goes to show how a child can flourish when given a positive environment to do so
programmes like this prove with awareness, we can make a difference to people's lives and make the world a better place- though it makes me sick that the director can even call herself human. every child on the planet deserves a happy, safe childhood free from hunger and sickness, with the chance for an education and a prosperous future- and we can help make that a reality :)
she bought 3 umbrellas for the pool? who gives a f-ck the kids never went outside anyways. dumb i hope she lost her job and is broke bitch begging on the street.
I watched the orginal documentary about 2 years ago. I often thought about these children as I also work with people with disabilities. My heart is glowing for Vasky in this video. What an amazing girl. I just want to bring her home with me.
Didi is still not the same. Vasky is a miracle.. You could sense it in the past movie that she was not one to give up easily... It's wonderful to see her progress.
I just finished watching the first part of this on television and was horrified. I had to look to good old Youtube to see what (or if) anything further was available on this!
Great to see that these kids are now being treated better and are, from the looks of it, enjoying their life a lot more.
Sadly though, these are probably the fortunate and hundreds or thousands more are probably still suffering.
Kate Blewett is a good sort. Thanks for opening the eyes of so many.
Wow so fantastic to see what started as a documentary turn these children's lives around! The update on them all is great :)

there is something really cruel about this roommate , i think she's making Didi do stuff O.o
pinknicole1234 11 months ago
@pinknicole1234
I don't think so, to me the roommate seems like a tough street-wise young girl, who who genuinely cares about and protects Didi.
When Didi turns to her at around 8.10, you can see sheer adoration in her smile and attentiveness.
In fact she finds hard to not not burst with happiness every time she looks at her.

I feel sorry for myself i think im a good director WHAT A CROCK!!!!!
Firstly you knew you had a violent staff member and in the end you only sacked him cause of Kate
Secondly instead of buying pool umbrellas spend the money on good healthy nutrious food

I cried when Vasky laughed. I'm so happy for them :) I want to see how all the other kids are, too.

Its so sweet how she smiles at her friend!
I'm usually the cynical sort, but I had a good old fashioned cry to find out how happy Didi is now.
Hmnn..I think this programme is in danger of turning me into a good person.
