  • @angiab That's odd, my russian tortoise escaped on me last year after one year of ownership :(. Its weird how a tortoise can escape from a wide open yard, i just left for about 45 seconds

  • How it Taste xD?

  • @Porre1337

Dunno but I put my two outside today and worm was wriggling around on the grass, one of the tortoise eyed it walked straight over and sooked it up like spaghette before plodding around looking for more, eventually he settled for dandelions lol

  • This is interest. Mine would never touch any of the live wiggly things outside. But he does go after anything green...including my bathroom slippers.

  • is it a russian tortoise?i thought tortoise onli eats vegi?

  • @angiab Oh no....I hope you find him. Maybe he burrowed deep into the ground when it was a little chilly. Happened to someone I knew, and her tort came out months later. It was quite the surprise.

  • @angiab :( sorry to hear it

  • So cute, but what a big appetite

  • "if you see us, please don't eat us! Wallie... oh wallie..!"

  • God I feel sick now lol..

  • yeaaaahhhh "Give me more!!!"

  • lame music compilation. you guys suck

  • the tortoise is like. "what the hell iss this?" i do know that they will eat insects from time to time. for protein?

  • I think he's thinking - "Give me more!"

  • poor worms! R.I.P wormies! lol ^^

  • Wow. I would like to show this to A. C. Highfield of Tortoisetrust ORG who claims that tortoise wouldn't "deliberately consumed" animal protein.

Google with "A practical guide to avoiding dietary disasters" and you'll find his quote. He's such a phony.

  • I have to admit I didn't know you're not supposed to give tortoises protein at time of filming. But we give him a weekly treat of one worm now as he is so mad for them! He seems to be thriving too. :-) will google out of interest. Thanks

  • Too much protein, or for that matter anything in abundance is probably not so good. But your video clearly implies that if they encounter worms in the wild, they wouldn't hesitate to bite on it.

  • You are right to give him a treat it's not going to harm him, well done

  • aww so cute

  • So cool! I love this video! I saved this.

  • Wow, what's the music in this?

    Cool tortoise!

  • The music is called Wally the Worm by Jules. Discovered on iTunes by searching "worms"!

  • Hi Angie Fin really likes your Tortoise, I did'nt know that they ate meat.

    Love Nut x
