In Montreal Canada there is uniform schools like this but only private schools and elementary schools get the pretty and handsome other schools just wear wit they want but it has to be blue and white.

Actually, there was a huge issue about families not being able to afford the uniforms because they were getting more trendier and stylish-Leading to the uniforms costing up to 300-450 a set in USD. I think their government had some law passed or whatever saying that idols can't be starring in uniform commercials due to the higher price of the uniforms

My guess is that these uniforms are not really for schools, more for a fashion sense.

@rizering they are for school. you can order your uniforms in different places (b/c sometimes your school doesn't give them to you. you have to go get it yourself) and there are places that make specific uniforms for specific schools.

@dramaddiction each school has a different uniform.. or some schools have similar school uniform but it's really different in terms of what province you live in and whether your school is public or private. private schools have brighter colored and more prettier uniforms and public schools mostly have green blue or black type uniforms

so there are 4 big businesses for school uniforms

some students buy their uniforms in a small shop.

But the majority of students choose one of the 4 big businesses

and buy their school ones.

It's not that they choose their favorites

they choose which companies to buy their school ones
