This video is ridiculous. I sell cars in Louisiana, you know that we get less than 10 % profit on the new cars we sell. Most people think that dealerships make 20 % no, blame the actual auto maker for making the price so high, not a car salesman, those shoes you buy are marked up over 50 % of the price it takes to make them, but you still buy them, diamonds are marked over 200% of what there worth, people still buy them.
there's nothing wrong with a dealer making a profit because after all it's a business. I just think it'll depend in the matter in which their doing it. I'm a car salesman and yes. I've had people say that they didn't want the dealer to make $10. The profit margins on these cars are accessible to all. It is for this undisputed fact that when people leave a dealer after someone helps them find, test drive and meet a reasonable number on a vehicle leave to save $99 is a very big slap in the face.
This guy works for free!! He must, since he doesn't believe in making money. Of course the sales managers want a person who's there to make money. Who would hire someone to do a sales job that's 100% commission if they he/she didn't?? And by the way where this was filmed in California a salesman has to get a sales license where the police department takes all ten of your fingir prints and does a background investigation on you. So having a criminal history would make it impossible to get hired.
This is funny because it implies that the car business is the only business that's run this way. "Me making money so that they're making money" lol that's any retail.
Wow talk about isolating the problem to one area. If you don't know shit about a product then of course someone will try to rip you off.
