russia was empire but it was weak towards its later period with events such as the russo- japanese war bloody sunday ect it had internal problems also i didnt say the mongols werent the biggest but that they arent considered a empire in some circles because they were made up in large part of mobile hordes that didnt nessicarily settle but if you want to consider it fine i could care less about that

russia was not an empire during the (soviet union its largest) the mongols were loosely ties and can hardly be considered an empire as the mongols were hordes who did not settle but raided and sacked cities

well the british empire was much more powerfull then the roman empire, seeing as the roman empire wasnt even the global empire.
and having a larger population economy and military doesnt make the US more "productive" for the size of theUK we are just as productive. For example britain has invented a number of more things then the US doesnt overal make us a more productive nation.

all the people who i have talked to that argue for the UK use its population size as a crutch when in fact take a look at the US and China. china's poplation is 1.3 billion while the US population is just 307 million
according to the CIA factbook our national product still nearly doubles theirs

well yes in terms of producing goods the US produces more as it is a far larger country, doesnt in anyway make it better. And no the british empire was more powerfull as it controled land on every continent. Larger population even if you take into consideration world populations of the era it still %wise had a larger population share.

it may have controlled more land but honestly its not really easy to compare since they are quite different but anyway what i said was we almost double china's production and china outnumbers us 1.3 billion people to 307 million however we produce far more than you do and that gap is only 61 million UK citizens to 307 million americans
a difference of 246 million one fourth of the difference between the US and china

also we arent getting our asses kicked by third world countries oh yeah and neither is the UK for two reasons:
1. iraq is occupied by the coalition and the enemy is an unorganized and ineffectual insurgency which has been badly damaged by widespread raids and operations not to mention countless battlefield defeats at the hands of the coalition
2. the UK withdrew and the US has just withdrawn from cities while all our goals have been met
