i can see you used automatic transmission.. u already know i play on 60 hz.. if i use automatic transmission, while changing the gears, the speed horribly decreases. so i "trained" myself to use manual transmission and immediately reached 6th gear in almost 0.4 secs.. (no lies) i need to get a 50 hz tv.. urgently..

@sunderland46 choose the runaway cheat, then go on a zone for example with supercar, hold down the boost button, the gas and the brake button..............then after the announcer says "2" release the brake button, thats it.

@almendratapatia it works on all Versions of Burnout 2.Read the description, its not that hard to get the RST work.

i got the zone 3 to work where the flatbed gets in same position as the 720 mill vid for 3

my Philips small colour tv can do 50hZ only so i dont have to worry of 60hz

Brainkiller007, how did you get the tachometer moving slowly like that, and how do you do the RST in 50hz? My RSTs only go to 160-175 mph.

I saw on ur profile u r from US, means u dont have the 50hz mode from the PAL version.

But if u use Manual Transmission (shift up as fast as possible) and RST u can get the RST faster which will allow u to get the strats on zone 2 and 14 work also in 60hz.

The "Custom Sport zone 19" strat and the "Supercar RST 50hz on zone 3" strat will not work on 60hz.

did you see the speedometer needle on 0:04. it was like it hit 260 MPH and the rev counter needle went beyond 12,000 RPMs. it was like 13,000 RPMs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its the 50/60 hz difference, switch to 50hz if u have PAL console

50hz, cause theres a "bug" and the RST is even faster.

no, it helps to get better strats on some zones.

I sent you a message about this. Yes, the RST start does work on the PS2, and it's not only in runaway, but you can do it on ANY mode on the PS2. Normal races and normal crash modes. It's also the only way to get a very high score on some crash tracks.

Also, I found out how to do this several months ago after one of my friends was messing with the brake and accelerate buttons before a race to spin his tires. We were all surprised! Your computer opponents will do this to get ahead of you as soon as a race starts. USE IT AGAINST THEM!

i commented on this and said that the RST here is the same as the one on the Playstation when it's not in runaway mode. I was wrong about that UNLESS on the playstation you can use a similar trick to get the same results while not in runaway mode. I tried exactly what you said with the holding down of the buttons and then releasing them, but I still can't make the car go as fast as you made it in gamecube's Runaway mode. I guess gamecube's just faster and has more glitches than playstation.

you can see how I get my car on the playstation 2 to get it's powerful boost of speed in any of my burnout videos. and none of that is in runaway mode. my friends and I don't use that cheat when crashing.

let me also add that the runway mode cheat on playstation DOES make the car go faster than the technique that I use in all of my vids, which is normal crash mode, but not as fast as it does on these gamecube videos. I'll just have to keep making more crashes and see what I can do with it.

if u have a ntsc version of bo2 its only in 60hz, on the pal version there is a 50hz too.

for the glitch,it works on every xbox/gc version no matter if its pal or ntsc,but on the ps2 versions u cant get the flying glitch work.

no,its a super turbo start which only works with runaway mode. its much faster than the normal turbo start.
