no it depends what the 5 star food is acctuly o.o like if u get a 5 star fissh it will most likely be a boss cut.

Good question, lol. Its actually explained in the dialogue. Basically you nearly "Die" after eating the baked potato because it was soo good. Then Nao comes to the rescue.
I haven't played this game for a while though...
