@MRklica : i am looking forward to buy the Xperia Mini. i love the full touch idea in a cell phone... (thats the reason i m not too keen on the Mini Pro) .. but i love to sms a lot & have heard that Xperia Mini is not great for sms/text mssging :( .. didnt like the default sms writing method(t9) .. was wondering if you have used keyboards downloaded from Android market like Smart Keyboard Pro/Handcent Sms/Thick Buttons/ SlideIt..? if you have then how is the sms experience with such keyboards?

@MWoody92 It depends, if you are texting a lot and want a physical keyboard x10 mini pro will be good for it. If a keyboard is not an issue x10 mini, if the size does not bother you x10 is for you

You forgot to mention that although the cpu is 600mhz, it powers a fraction of the pixels which makes it faster.

Its like playing crysis on a 8800GTX at 600x480 (x10 mini 0.6ghz)

vs crysis on a 260GTX at 1680x1050 (x10 1ghz)

The 800gtx will run smoother.

When people say it uses a 'micro sd' memory card, is that the one which classic sony ericson ones have, that only work in sony ericsons, or is the memory card compatable with all other phones? sorry if that doesn't make sence :P x

The most well-made review of this phone I have found.

But... "a companion phone for when you want to go out"? I think you are a bit out of touch with the people who are actually going to buy it. ; ) Only very few people have different phones for different situations. Many would like some of the functionality of a full smartphone but don't like the size. This phone is perfect for them.

Maybe a great companion for a tablet pc?

@patdud1979 Most of the Android apps are working perfectly fine, however if you have a specific apps in mind, better check some forum and see if it works okay just to be sure. Samsung galaxy is a little better when it comes to display, internal memory and type of battery. More info for Samsung galaxy at timtechs dot com
