@1slowturtle Green Day is indeed punk. Musically, they're pop rock, but lyrically, they're punk. Before American Idiot, hardly anyone knew them. Hell, American Idiot was a whole album dedicated to the stupidity of Americans. To say they're not punk is to say Glenn Beck isn't crazy.

If i was to label any band a punk band, id look at their history,lyrics,and how much they really know about corruption in politics
