Torn Card Trick

People that say he used tape is wrong. I think your kinda of forgetting that he gave her the card and she examined it. There was no tape.

I think it's packing tape, but I'm not sure. At 1:46 the card seems to reflect way to much light for a normal playing card, sort of like packing tape does. Very good either way though.

It's always better when there is a spectator's reaction. For some reason I learned hollingworth's reformation first. all in all, this trick packs the same punch but with less to go wrong.

you can sign the card in only one of the four sections, instead of signing all the way across. thats wut i do, but i dunno about the WHOLE card.

First off I'll let you know that I too perform this on a daily basis about 90 times a day. So this isn't coming from some amatuer.

Two, I have to say, compared to the other people on YouTube presenting this effect.... my man... you are good. Your technique was almost flawless. Very good.

The only downside was your patter. I personally believe you don't need that much patter since the trick is self-explanatory. Look at Daniel Garcia's version... the guy is silent the entire time!

Look everyone. Magic wanabees here will say its tape. I know its not tape. What it is is a bloody great effect which takes skill to perform from Daniel Garcias TORN. Hey, i like this trick too. i do this after the ambitous card routine. during the ACR, there is a signature on the face of the card. then play with the card and let the spectator sign there name again or write down the date of birth or phone number etc on the back..

very useful trick.. and u did it well~!

I wouldn't get too mad at the attempted exposure here. Every percieved explanation is an opportunity for deception. If this trick is done correctly no one would believe that the two versions used the same method. Which indeed they may not (Reparation, anyone?)

when she signs the card u make it obvious that you pull something out of your pocket - another card most likely. when you tear the card into 4 pieces and briefly show all 4 of them it's easy to notice only one of the pieces is signed, when it should be two. this means you folded the original up twice, and used the fake card for the tearings.
