f1 engines have a lot of power and rpm but shitty torque.

@octoslut sadly it will never happen, they cost too much, both buying and keeping efficent, the medium life time is 1000 km if you keep the hp settings low

@indi50special True, but a Yamaha R6 engine cuts at 16,000 real rpm STOCK and lasts young and powerful over 100,000 km properly mantained. But then It has tiny 150cc cylinders...

It's a V12,3.5l aspirated, almost 17K rpm and 1000HP!!!!!!!

3,5 or 3,0l naturally aspirated V12. No turbos.

V12's never had turbos. They were removed from formula 1 at the end of the 1988 season.
