I always take my goal kicks like that. Mainly because i find it easier to attack. But if you play it quickly and get your defender to run towards the ball that should never happen
I agree I always press X as soon as possible and never get intercepted. If the other attack comes close I just aim the ball to the left or right and pass it short to them instead. A final thing to do is as soon as you press X hold down square so it looks like you're powering up for a big kick, this sometimes tricks them too.
is this ps2 or not?
