  • all sheep are clever no sheep are stupid

  • @shepherdewan Oh absolutely, they are far from daft. Most people never get to see them in a way that allows them to express that though, since most sheep are treated as just commodities. We have 8 pet sheep here and they are just as smart and full of character and affection as any cat or dog. They love fuss and cuddles :).

  • @stinkyox you can comment on ewan cuddling mally the sheep, shepherd ewan cuddles amy the sheep and shepherd ewan with amy and jock in the barn

  • They're always tslking... I like that.. plenty of sheep here in New Zealand, they only talk on occasion. Or perhaps it was conversation about shearing.

  • When they're shorn the first few out the porthole usually yell their heads off. Like "WTF and where on earth are my mates?"

    Those sheep are nicely shorn.

    (kiwi shearer here)

  • Here they are mostly talking about the shearing (you can hear that the baas are "nervous" baas, which are more "wavery" than normal unstressed communication baas, which tend to be loud and steady). They do talk a bit amongst themselves at other times too, and there is always a barrage of welcome baas to us when they hear the gate opening :). Sometimes if I'm nearby but not in their field I can have a "conversation" with them by baaing myself and responding to their replies :).

  • I like the "personal word for the camera" at 1:49 :)

  • Beasties look well impressed with new haircut Lol.
