Awsome! I did it on my non jailbroken iPad 1 (latest firmware). Cheating the toxins... thank you very much. :-D Anyway your instructions are easy, I'm a n00b elderly woman and still managed to do it, except that the first time around I didn't save the file I had tampered with (yeah n00b!). Took me altogether a half hour. Also rebooted my device after I put my altered file back on the iPad. Had wifi and 3G turned off and now it's back on. Not being greenwalled, yet. So it looks perfect!

I reeally spent some time on this... Theres no 3F near my name. I had a different plist file and there was a 3F ABOVE 75 but now that i started over ... Nice tutorial. But I have a problem, after doing all this stuff my Toxins remain at the same number. I've tried restarting after the replacement, and also making it so my zombies and player is doing nothing. I also tried different amounts of toxins, around 1000-8000. But unfortunately nothing happens. It would help if you could reply back with any thing that could possibly help me.

@CKiezs Did you remember to copy the plist back onto your iPhone? Also you cannot directly edit the plist, it has to be copied to your PC before you can properly edit it.

@bubbag02 Yeah I take it from the iPhone, then replaced it. I tried many times too. Even after replacing, to make sure I was doing it right I took it out of my phone and opened it again with the Hex Edit program, and it even said 00 00 07 D0. Which equals 2000.

@CKiezs Assuming you've used the correct location of the plist, the only other thing that can go wrong is the software you using. the transfer software. Maybe try a different one and see if you get a different result. I used iPhone Explorer and HxD.

EZ way to find what you're looking for in plist. Close your cafe, note your lvl, $ amt, and toxin amt. Google up a decimal to hex converter. Convert $ amt to hex and search for the string. Nearby should be the lvl and toxin amt, make sure you've converted them to hex as well so you can ID them. Decide on amt of stuff you want and convert to hex. Replace the old hex with new hex in appropriate place. Replace plist, presto.

I did the editing correctly, I know this because I located the values I was seeking. However when I send the file back to my phone and start the app the file reverts back to its previous state. I know the file was edited before opening the app because before opening the app I double checked the new file. After opening the app I checked the file and sure enough the value is back to 0C. Anyone else experiencing this?

if i could just find where "You" is (for my name in the game), then the rest of this seems easy. ive been trying ctrl+F to find the word "You" but there are multiple "You"s so I don't know which one is my name because my hex converter doesnt look the same as yours....any suggestions?

I tried it with 37802 cash and 2 toxin but when I tried this, it became 200 something cash and 19 toxins only. I don't know what I did wrong :( I just changed the toxin code to 1388 like in the video. :( Help pleaaase.

I did! Yay and thanks so much! It would have been very annoying gathering receipts and screenshots to reinstate the toxins I purchased. There was no 3f or anything. I just played ZC past the tutorial (had to start over after the crash), then took note of my cash amount. Converted cash to hex and used that to find and change the right numbers. Easier than I thought. Thx.

@blinkbling2006 I'm not quite sure, my iPod is jb, so I wouldn't know if it would work on a non jb iPod. You should be able to find the plist file if you follow my instructions in the description. If not, then go to the website in the description. Everything in this video, I learned from that site.

HEX EDITOR ( WINDOWS ) and IPHONE/IPOD EXPLORER. 2. unzip. 3. Use iPhone/iPod explorer to locate the zombie app. There in library/preference is the file. get a copy of that on your desktop. Yada yada follow the video and then reboot you ipod. I had to...

since i installed the new update of zombie cafe (1.0.3.) there was no more 3F, but it was replaced by 3E. It's the same like the previous hack, only this time the 3F was replaced by 3E. Make sure your chef's name is YOU. And the rest u can follow @sasuke3079 tutorial on this video. Good luck!

This worked great for me, Thanks. The post from enthomorphtorales is spot on, saved me a lot of trouble. The hex editing program the guy is using is called HxD which you can download easily enough by doing a google search. Its all fairly straight forward aslong as you follow enthomorphtorales's instructions of pressing ctrl + f and typing "you" when using the hex program, you can then use the video to locate the correct values easily.

Capcom has been suspicious of cheating, so when ur cafe is green that means other cafes can't see/view your cafe any longer (but not forever). it may turn back if you stop cheating in the next 2-3 days.

u have to make sure your CHEF'S name is YOU. then transfer the .plist file and open it in hxd software. Ctrl+F and type you. u will find the YOU (59 6F 75). then just follow the instruction of this video. the 3F is there, and 8 digits after the 3F are your TOXINS number. give it a try!

Your .Plist is located in Your Private,Var,Mobile, Application, ZombieCafe, And Then Zombiecafe again and the name of the file is called INFO.Plist

download Your Hxd edditor .. google it and download and install then Locate and open your .plist file and eddit the digits hit save and replace the file with the original in Ur ipod and safly remove and restart your ipod:)
