i let mine sit out in the hot sun then came outside and peeled them easily with my fingers no need to use a hair dryer unless you live in a cold climate.

done that before using floss...except for the heater...then i used petrol to remove the black sticky residue...really simple and works great..just have to let the petrol set for a few mins and simply peel it off

I think debaging is stupid...I mean it looks so half-assed. I drive a 2011 WRX, by the way. Its not like the car is very discrete from the get-go...I mean no one is gonna mistake it for a toyota or nissan or ford, and certainly no one in the know will mistake it for an STi, so whats the point?

In response to my own comment you should use a solvent instead of a heat gun, you could damage the clear coat on the paint and it could loose its shine, a can of PB Blaster go's for about 3 bucks and did wonders for my si. A friend used a heat gun on his 3 series and it left a dark satin like ring around where his "XI" badge was

i just pulled mine off with out the dryer came off way easier and didnt leave any glue on the car at all, took 5 minutes and i didnt use floss either

Hey man good idea with the Hair dryer to loosen up the glue. As for the last part tho Use some Rubbing Alcohol to get the rest of that sticky glue off it will take it off really easy and make the surface ultra clean :) hope it helps. Ps Don't Use similar chemicals like Gas Or Nail Polish" they work just as well but they will also remove your paint or at least the clear cote :P

Wax? Um, no. The paint on the car and all the protective layers went on long before the stick on badging. No need to do anything - just enjoy the clean look. I took off the Impreza lettering on the back, so it just has the WRX on the right side, and left on the rest - looks fine to me - but yours looks sweet as well. Enjoy!
