  • big grass carp;)

  • wasnt picking food from the surface...it is a bowfin...they come up to breathe air in shallow water

  • @moneyman13ify Bowfin? That's a pretty bad assumption. I'd say either a common or grass carp by the mouth and scale pattern. and @wildstar1 next time try some corn or bread :P

  • WHAT S THAT THING

  • First one was a buffalo--they have sharper, more pronounced dorsal fins. The fish slurping on the surface was a common carp.

  • probly huge carp

  • id go and get gear and nail it with size 8 raptor

  • Grass carp for sure.

  • what the hell is wrong w/ your camera?

  • just carp. Id bowfish for em.

  • @motormaniac50 Fucking sad !!! carp shouldnt be killed

  • @xxJwS no need for profanity. Carp are a non native and invasive species that compete with fish i love like catfish, bass, walleye etc. I just rather kill carp to help out the more native ones. I guess the saying each to his own applies here. Cheers

  • @motormaniac50 Still sad your just dirty fuckers !

  • i would go in the water to get that fish

  • is your zoom , powerd by a v8

  • snag 'em

  • an ok size alligator gar

  • @runescapeikill its a carp not an alligator gar

  • @tacokiller101 yup thats a carp you can use range cubes to bait them in and mix cornflakes and straberry soda to make doughballs they love em also note if you have a problem keeping the bait on use a small piece of panty hose to wrap around your dough balls have fun and hold on might jerk the rod out of your hand lol

  • thats a common grass carp man they get really big but they are really hard to catch because they are vegetarians. you might try catching them with a dough ball next time u see them

  • @carlizzlefoshizzle1 hey if its in you regulations in sted of that get hevy dudy line a light action pole and a treval hook but if you cant do that just get popcorn and cireal wooooooooooooooooo it is fun

  • Probably bites on lures

  • Zig riggg time

  • what is it a gar or pike

  • big deal they are just gar and karp

  • its a bowfin. I know a guy that fishes in tournaments for them.

  • i would of run home and grab my net

  • toss a treible hook and snag him

  • amur grass carp!!!!

  • @gattonelr

    yes , it's amur !! good eye

  • u will never catch doese fish m8 u know why those be gars u cnat get a gar 2 bite for sht they are very picky eaters

  • Carp.... No doubt about it.

  • yeah grass carp :)

  • u suck at taking video ur jst keep moving the view

  • That is a carp. I fish out of a creek like this and they cast the same large shadows. Also when it fed off the top thats a carp head/mouth. They will bite sweet corn or worms. They eat vegetatian. They will not go after a moving bait like that. You have to wait them out it would probably take about 25 minutes. And they are very weary. They suck in and spit out the bait several times before they eat it. So you have to use real stuff.

  • You should try a piece of bread for those huge carp. Ill take a size 1 to 1/0 plainshank hook and no sinker and lightly cast the bread so it floats on the surface and just watch the monster carp eat it.

  • looks like a caarp. they are vegatarian fish fo they eat the weeds and shit on the top of the water... there size scares me hahah

  • carp or catfish thats what it may be

  • looks like a gator to me but they only live in south Ontario part of Canada

  • that is a grass carp. grass carp tend to stay in small groups and usually just sit there at the bottom waiting for food.

  • if you want to catch them use a piece of whole kernal corn with no cork or sinker

  • 100% Carp no doubt

  • Gator bro

  • thats a carp dude you can tell by the mouth at 2:23

  • I dont think it was a Carp it was probaly a giant Alligater Gar.

  • bad ass you saw it

  • flathead catfish

  • A bunch of big carp

  • what fish but huge fish

  • carp I 'm pretty sure

  • i dont think thats a carp looks too long or its like a grass carp their long but not in alabama

  • u sure that thing was a carp?

  • im gonna guess thats a big carp

  • i really wish u would stop zooming in/out its killing me and that is one big ass fish

  • try putting free baits round where the carp is, you need to make it feel that its safe to feed on then put ur line in

  • just get a rifle and a long as net and its yours

  • freeline crust on the top 4 them tht shud get em

  • lmao i would jump in the water ...trying to grab one lol

  • well there carp there not gunna go for the bait u have to snag them :P

    better luck next time

  • you should get a big pole with strong line and a treble hook and cast over the fish and rill in slow really slow win it gets close jerk the pole as hard as u can if your lucky u mite catch one tell us how it goes

  • Nice Carp!!! Those ones that are hard to entice like that one try this....bait the water with sweet corn, kind of chumming it out there......put a BUNCH of it on a hook and chunk it out near the fish, but not right on him (they spook super easy). It may take a bit, but that's what I use. Other things to try are REALLY doughy sweetbread, or hotdogs. The key with these fish though is to let them take the bait for a bit. Carp "mouth" it, taste it and may spit it out a few times and retaste it.

  • this would be great for bowfishing

  • hell ya i would run home and get my bow!

  • If i saw that i would run home and get my rod as fast as i could lol

  • lol! I did just that and I could not get one bite. Not even a little nibble! They're not only big but they're smart too. The reason they get so big!

    Thanks for watching.:D

  • yeh thats true m8, the smarter the bigger :)

  • depends on what bait you were using...carp will only bite on certain things...what did you use?

  • when i was little like 6 which im 10 i use to have a bucket tht my uncle gave me,i dunk the water i didnt pay attention to the water,i was talking to my sis then i look in the bucket i caught a a big fish 0.0 but cool huh?

  • lol, I wish I had my RR with me at the time! I'd love to hook that one. I've landed one that was 30 lbs but they get much bigger.

  • It could be a gar. I've filmed lots of them here and they do get very large.

    Thanks for watching!

  • what kinda fish was that

  • Hi!

I wish I knew for sure, but I think it's a big catfish, or maybe a big Asian carp. The carp were introduced into ponds to help clean them, they escaped into rivers. Also could be a large sturgeon.

    Thanks for watching it.:)

  • good camera work hick

  • Thank ya! I just a luv 'em cameras. Me an Bubba caught us a nice 'un.

I'm not a huge fish eater, don't really like the taste, plus I have goldfish and koi for pets, lol.

  • accually i love fish and you can see by my name, i like raw fish or sushi but i would never eat a carp.

  • Wow! They get big out there too.:) Carp are found all over the world. Nice catch! I want to go fishing now, lol.

  • i want to go spearfishig now =P

  • lol! Lots of people enjoy the sport, be carefull out there.:)

    Happy holidays.

  • Thats crazy! Old fish are the most careful, no wonder they didn't go for anything. I wish carp in my area got that big! They really are a sport fish in my opinion, but I guess the more people who call them trash fish, the less competition I get!

  • lol! Yeah, I agree. There're some big ones here. Some of the biggest catfish too. Some are reported to be 200 lbs or more! But, I don't know if I believe that.:)

  • Wow, I'd love to live there. That vid was so soothing. (Wish I could hook that big sucka tho! LOL)

  • lol, I've hooked these big carp before. Landed one that weighed over 30lbs. Great fun to catch. Yeah, it's a nice area for outdoor activity. Love it here.:)

    Thanks for watching!

  • No "Jaws" theme for the background music?

  • lol, I just might use that in my next fish vid!

How's it going? Hope you're well.:)

  • Or "help me" from The Fly could be good too :P

I'm kind of hanging in there for the moment, thanks...
