@aghachi I'm not have programming skills but I can tell you by my graphic skills that this is generated by Kinect's camera that can read the dept using infared dots sprays all over the camera view point. So this is compositing the dept and the color that can read from the same angle together. put the color to where the dots of dept are in 3D coordinates. So it is dark shadow where the camera do not see.

To produce a true photopolmer hologram one puts the object being illuminated by a split-by-mirror laser on a turntable. If you could slowly spin on your chair, interlace those multiple images so kinect "remembers" your "dark side" and then integrate it into your holographic virtual avatar in a cgi manner you could fudge the full 360o.

Zbrush takes advantage of wacoms pressure sensitivity 2 control the brushes sculpting intensity- Moving the hand towards or away from the camera would b an awesome walk around. Maybe the L/R mouse buttons need 2 stay on the mouse- Since it would b 2 weird or hard 2 do various hand shapes need 2 create them while doing hand movements 2 control the direction of the cursor. I guess really just Hand in and Hand out stuff 4 Pressure mod.

I desperately want to use this device 2 sculpt in Zbrush. They have a 30 day demo if you need 2 play with it 2 sort out a way 2 make a workable interface. I cant compile so that puts me at a huge disadvantage 2 see such a wish come true. I also use windows. I see u'r a Linux & Mac man. Any way 2 make a self contained Vista/W7 .exe that will allow some hand controls 4 Zb or a macro button/functionality menu for hand gestures/shapes? All that's needed is mouse movement+L/R+CtrlShiftZAlt buttons
