If a g36 had kick like that holy crap, full auto would be hell. But I do get how you made it look like it had a lot more power by doing the huge recoil
Fucking insane, but i didnt like how he raised up, and put his rifle up at the end. Maybe he could have layed down and tucked his gun under him. Either way i wish i could edit like this.
@themichaelnuckles Thanks for the complements! Your right about the standing up part, but I really wanted to get that location in the background somehow!
the quality is amazing! im just now filming in HD after like 6 years and it looks so much better, but i wish i lived in the mountains like this where the scenery makes it much more interesting
As a little tip, for your gun get some extra supplies to match the ghillie suit and put it on your gun to help camo it, and yes i did read the description
lol i know it's not s'posed to be detailed, but instead of unscrewing ur airsoft gun barrel, you could paint it or edit it out, the hole is a tad small even for .223
@USAF9631 Hey, some tips for commenting on videos:
1. Read the description of the video. It helps to see if the video was a test or not. That may explain some detail issues.
2. Don't try to sound intuitive be being descriptive with military tactics. Six year olds who play call of duty could say just as much. No one is impressed.
3. Don't use poor grammar and text message style typing. I won't take it seriously.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I wish it could have been more helpful.
@USAF9631 On top of what he said... we're not some military freaks. We REALLY don't give a fuck about how he walks... (p.s. Spotters DO carry an assualt rifle at all times. Something similar to the G36).
@USAF9631 actually you must not know what snipers do. They can actually travel however they want unless they are given specific orders to stay covert. And marine snipers are given M4 carbines. So they can have various guns. Dont be so shocked. Plus its just a test.
@BeingBroham Well we took burlap and pulled it apart for individual strings. Then we got army coveralls and glued black netting to it with shoe goo. After words we took the strands of burlap and tied them around the netting. A long process but it paid off!
@BeingBroham If you want to find music of every type of that quality, I use musicbeyond. This was called something like Ghost Opera I believe. Hope this helps!
Hey heres a small tip, add some white or yellow glow to the surrounding area like the ghillie, the tree and a bit on the ground for about 2 or 3 frames. I've got a decent example on my channel if you wanna check it out. Its called Eyes of A Sniper II
@Alekwatelli Oh well I use Fxhome effectslab pro. They have preset filters for videos as well as ones that you can create for scratch. I would think after effects would have this same ability however, as it is a very solid program as well.
That was great the music and background noise really sold it and made the atmosphere great! The muzzel flash was superb and looked like it actully happened. The only problems I saw were that the gun was not consistant with what a sniper actully would use and he would deffinetly not just stand up after taking the shot! Also, the gillie suit sold the sniper character to the audience, it made it immediatly apparent what it was about!
this is solid work. way better than coriolis in terms of camera work and color correction, hue, and saturation. The only thing I didn't like was the barrel shot. Everything else was superb. Good job
I Loved This :) what software did you use? After affects, Fxhome? I Love the way you kept the shots down to a minimum to add the suspense and add to the feel of the type of film :)
the picture quality looks so good!! did you use any colour corrector! btw ive got my first war film coming out this summer!! cant wait till yours comes out
hmmmm. Well first I'm already honored that you would ask me for tips. What I would say is take advantages of not only things in focus but out of focus. Another thing is be creative. A Third is although your actors may be getting tired, make sure to retake any bad shot until it gets better. Maybe if he is just starting then suggest watching a film before (good film) filming and making sure to take careful notes of pace, music, and shots. Hope this helps!
wheres the music from?
