If your shift key is giving you so much trouble you could always bind the jump button to something else. You have to bind it every time you open the game, but you could use a key that isn't so unresponsive.

Well yeah if you watch other videos of its easy, it kind of ruins it. The whole challenge of the tetris screen is going through the bullet bill screen and then learning the pattern step by step through trial and error. The jumps aren't that bad, you really only do two semi-tricky jumps, and even then aren't bad compared to the rest of the game.
