  • You little truss-maker

    You're no ball-breaker

  • Never heard of Pan's People until I joined YouTube. Can't remember if TOTP was ever shown on US television in the 1970s.

  • RIP Jimmy Savile

  • Even after all the years, I still entertain norty thorts about Ruth and Cherry!

  • Nice bodies there.

  • i still like the one with the big thighs

  • i likr the one with the big thighs

  • I am not jealous BUT the comment PART CARRY A SPARE BiT OF FLESH what are You talking about i don,t see it TO me they look great they way they are & yes I am a woman

  • Notice how defensive the female audience members are in the background? Very jealous!

  • I still cannot understand why the BBC started repeating TOTP's on BBC4 frm 1976?

Even if they don't have all the episodes previous to that year, it would still have been nice to see the ones they have got...

  • @Glassgirl2009 Yes I agree Glassgirl - would have been great to see say from 68-72 - some seriously good music around then. I started to watch properly about 1974 as slightly too young before that. These ladies Pans' People showed a bit of flesh without being trashy unlike some of the girls these days!

  • pans people are soooooooo beautiful.Dee Dee is stunning.

  • Thursday Night TOTP , Pans People, exciting stuff for a young Boy back then , No wonder I still love Knee length Boots Hot pants and short skirts o lordy !!! Pans People were HOT HOT HOT!!

  • just beautiful.Dee Dee wow.

  • heart breakers

  • they are so beautiful and wonderful dancers,Dee Dee`s smile is so cute ! .

  • do you know i often play this video so i can relive my youth, when i used to watch pans people every thursday night on TOPS , just to admire sue she was so sexy and the best girl in the troupe in my eyes, and when i see her in these video clips i still think she is. i would like to know what became of her.

  • I do think they could have done a much funkier routine!

  • I hear alot on this board about Jimmy Saville. What's the lowdown on this guy?

  • @cranebeacher Savile with only one L, is considered the first DJ, he started top of the pops in the early 60s and a lot of us grew up with him on the telly. His other big show was Jim'll fix it....

  • i was trying to find a good reason to biuld a time machine. EURIKA

  • @chemdah any luck yet??

  • I think the BBC should have encouraged the audience to dance on the sidelines.I bet the poor girls in the audience wish they hadn't been born as they witnessed the choreographic perfection of Pan's People.

  • I've been thru all Pan's People videos on Youtubeand I think this is the best !! I can't help replaying it......it's so good!

  • @ziggycat999 If you want tons of pans people and legs and co ,google pans people and click on one for the dads.

  • sue ,i wounder what she ,s doing these days god i used like her back then

  • @2656paul

I spend most days asking myself that same question. She was the most perfect example of womanhood i`ve ever seen.

  • Great the way Sue points at the camera and mouths the `you` at 1.01. Its those little details that made this `british babe` as our American freinds would say, so red hot.

  • These British Babes are wicked HOT! Love this song and the way they dance to it. But I do question the audience's reaction.......very subdued.

  • Jimmy Saville: Hands down the greatest host in "Top of the Pops"'s history and the closest to what Dick Clark did for "American Bandstand". The Tymes' song title just about sums up the corruption of American politicians.

  • this will allways remined me of my first real true love, called gillian that was when i worked as a dj in the ozzie owl club in sheffield all those years ago.they were the best days .

  • Flick Colby's choreography was shall we say, slightly predictable once you've seen a few of these... lots of finger pointing into the air and the sweep of the open hand at waist height make regular appearances. And the end is really messy, but I suppose it's tough to choreograph a dead ending.

  • great posting. I just love watching their routines and they are so beautiful + love 70`s music. BRILLIANT.

  • Love the way they wiggle their bums, especially sue of course, Flick had a good day thinking of that routine.

  • 1974 eh? Gee I wonder how they look these days!

  • just great, beautiful women and good dancers

  • just great, beautiful women and good dancers

  • The host with the Edgar Winter hair acts like he's really sloshed! Probably lots of partying went on on that set!

  • @aceyacem lol, you must be American, not knowing who Jimmy Saville is :-) Shall we say, a controversial character? He does raise a lot of money for charity tbf.

  • Saw them...very good.

  • As viewer "Nosmos" noticed how unimpressed the females in the audience were.....he's so right! Their body lanuage is very defensive. I guess British girls can't handle competition well.

  • Short skirts and a tight chorous line. Good saved for another generation. What year is this??

  • heavenly wiggling!!!

  • I agree with Nick - loving Cleggs people

  • fantastic video :):)

  • Yep .. when women looked like women.. and weren't afraid to carry a spare bit of flesh..

  • @Gruntelfluk You want to see it round Manchester on a Friday night. Thousands of women who aren't afraid to carry a spare bit of flesh. Not just a bit, either. Reams of the stuff. Layer upon layer of exposed flab, in fact.

  • @Gruntelfluk Yes, and no enhancements. Real flesh..

  • @Gruntelfluk Get yourself to Manchester. There are millions of women who are not afraid to carry a spare bit of flesh.

  • Je suis en amour avec Mme Pearson, l'étourdissement aux cheveux noirs et des axes emphatique pelvienne!!

  • pans people...real women,just magnificent

  • Love the unimpressed crowd of girls watching them!!! Would love to know their thoughts at that moment!!!

  • Cherry Gillespie est aussi mignon comme bouton.

  • @youngmistergrace

I actually think Cherry was the prettiest. I I thought I read that she has also worked with Enya on some of her videos since Pan's People disbanded. Oh I'm female btw and didn't see them as competition just part of TOTP, I would have loved to have been a dancer for a living!

  • Hi,

Thanks for all the wonderful TOTP clips. Never seen most of them before. Where did you manage to find all these rare gems?? Cant wait for the mid 70s and

    80s.
