Ya know, you gotta love Anthrax' fighting spirit. Even though Nelson really didn't fit into the band he still gave it his all. You can tell he's really influenced by Anselmo singing wise. I just wish John Bush would've been able to stick it out with the band. I think the four albums they made with Bush were among their best!

How to ruin an Anthrax show: Schedule a show and don't tell anybody, when Slipknot's headling MSG the same night. Schedule it alongside some stupid snowbaording festival. Have promoters make your fans sit through said festival in frostbite temperatures for 5 hours. Have promoters tell nobody about the curfew. Administer some really unorganized PA to the show, and cut the sound mid song and call it a night.

No offense to Anthrax or their fans, but the promoters should have been bottled.

AN APOLOGY FROM ANTHRAX

"We want to apologize to our fans who came out to the Red Bull event last night. Originally, we were to go on just before 9and play for 45-minutes. One of the events ran late which caused us to delay our set. That, and a curfew we were not informed about snowballed into an situation that was beyond our control . We were instructed to cut our set to three songs, and no one was more surprised than us when they cut the PA before we could finish the third song.

i was there. all the way up front dead center the whole time since about 4pm. the band black gold was so fucking gay and when they ended i thought only 2 hours until Anthrax might as well stand here. I needed to take a piss REAL BAD. but i thought anthrax is about to come on so i might as well wait. it got dragged out so long so i thought i'll just go to the bathroom and come back in. as soon as i stepped out Anthrax started. plus only 3 song set. no caught in a mosh?! fucking gay.
