I was there. When Kele said they were doing a cover and their favourite member of the band was from manchester, two guys in front of me were trying to figure out which band it was. They didn't see this one coming. Top Stuff.
i like the way they've done this song, its not really surprising as the lyrics are basically kele's cup of tea. not that i don't like that because he has a great voice for break up/love tunes. i just hope he does like a sexual healing or can't get enough of your love cover, something positive ;). as usual, russell's guitar is not loud enough. Aw this was amazing ... I thought the same as heliumdown in the sense that I thought they were gonna do ting-tings ... I was so happy when this came on !

And quite shocked by how many people knew ALL the words
astounding! they where brilliant last night. i wished they played letter to my son (it was on the previous night) but this more than made up for it. when they mentioned a cover from a band with mancunian root i was half expecting/dreading a cover by someone like the ting tings or courteeners but this was ace
I was there, amazing gig, right infront of gordan and i got matts setlist!, i hope they record this on record it was brilliant, would make a good b-side tune!

I was there. Had absolutely no idea what the song was until the chorus.
I wonder if Kele was being serious when he said that Girls Aloud was one of his favourite British bands?
I have my own recording of this, but the fact that I was stood right in front of the mixing desk makes them all look like stick insects!!!!!!!
