At the very least these collections should be shared globally between internationally recognised museums, so that we can all share in others heritage, rather than feel our own ones were being stolen and commodified in British museums...

Its unfair for the British museums to keep these artifacts.. Britain attracts millions of tourists each year who visit these museums, while the country of origin of most of the artifacts attracts meagre amounts of tourists each year in comparison... send the artifacts home so they're rightful custodians can use them to attract tourists who wish to see the artifacts in they're real surroundings, rather than on a cold british museum floor that has no connection to them...

Thank you for posting this video, I am extremely happy that my nations history (ASSYRIO-BABYLONIAN) is preserved at the British Museum. In all fairness to the Brits, most of these artifacts were decaying or eroding away in the dirt before they took them. Their countries of origin were not caring after these artifacts before the British got there. A large number of them would not exist today if the British had not picked them up and preserved them.
