He doesn't say Pac. He says 'J', which was the name/initial of his brother. They were gunned down in the late 90s (I think). J died, and Grimm was paralyzed from the waste down. And sorry, there are many rappers better than Pac.

Like I said to Methodize below, just because he had dozens of verses on his 4 albums (I mean actual albums, before he died) does not mean he is better than anybody else ever, who might one day want to use one of those lines. @Methodize How many lines have been used or re-used in different songs? The fact that Pac was around before Grimm has nothing to so with who is better. That's like saying that McNuggets are better than any other fast-food chicken because they did it first. My own personal preference is to listen to anything but West Coast or East Coast Gangsta Rap. Intelligent hip hop will win any day over thugged out, drugged out, simple rhyme-schemed hood tales, sorry.

The crew known as K.M.D. first came to be known in 1989 as affiliates of Def Jam Recordings' highly talented trio 3rd Bass, with rappers MC Serch and Prime Minister Pete Nice. KMD's first recording was in 1990. Also, K.M.D. was comprised mostly of Zevlove X (MF Doom) and DJ Sub-Roc (Doom's brother, J). If any of this is actually wrong, then okay, I admit, you know more than I do. Good job.

I know all about Doom and his origins, I was just saying that they have no blood connection. Doom's brother was killed in a car accident (DJ Subroc), and Grimm's brother was shot dead when Grimm was paralyzed in that drug deal-- or sting-- in which they got caught. Doom and Grimm made an album together in 2000, 3 years before the M.I.C. album came out. But I was completely unaware of them being involved in a group of any kind before then. I didn't know Grimm was ever involved with K.M.D.
