  • there is powder in east coast?

  • @jon1151 only at jay...maybe mt sutton (quebec) and chic chocs (also quebec) and im sure newfoundland too. i guess anyplace gets powder sometimes.

  • @jon1151 jay peak gets 300" a year.

  • sorry to see all this shit talking going on on your video. Great skiing and riding. I currently live in steamboat and am probably gonna be heading east for college soon and would like to find out more about east coast backcounrty.

  • you have to do whistler backcountry...at times it can have the worst chutes where you'll have 50 foot patches of ice and other times it will have 50 ft patches of 2 f00t deep snow and when you get lower in elev especially in the trees you get the most amazing powder. unbeatable even in the alps

  • mtee111: Revy is a blast, but there is nice stuff to ride back east ... if we have snow !

  • your not a real skier go back to south carolina

  • I guess I have a unique perspective on this topic of discussion. I use to live in South Carolina and traveled all up and down the East coast to ski. I now live in Spokane Washington. After skiing all over this continent, I've never seen a greater concentration of powder rippers than the West side of Washington state. The skiers in Denver and Salt lake, pardon me for this, ain't got shit. As far as East vs West, when the pow comes most Eastern skiers start flailing. Jay skiers however rock.

  • east coast skiers are waaaay better skiers than west coasters- our everyday trails afew days without snow would be closed out west because theyd be "too danerous and icy" put an eastcoast skier and a west coast skier side by side for the day and youll see whos more solid on thier feet. we may not have the acreage or snow fall as the left coast- were just better skiers.

  • Dude, you need some shweeet tunage

  • jay rocks. to bad the trees grow so close together though - otherwise it would be alot like Montana

  • EAST COAST SKIING FOR LIFE!!!!

    u need a song

  • damn right represting the east nice video

  • no sound? lame. at least put a song to it. still some epic snow. any of this at Jay Peak by chance?

  • Hey, where exactly are the pics at 1:19 - :23 etc taken, the area above the tree line?

  • im guessing the deep stuff was in newfoundland?

  • Hey what kind of video camera was this footage shot with?

  • so gnar

  • nice vid, good music too

  • yeah that looks sick. I live in Ontario ; which is brutal, so Jay is only like 8hrs away. But grew up in BC so snowboarding there and in Oregon you can't compare. suprising for the east nonetheless

  • fuck the west ski/snowmobile the east

  • great video guys, ski the east!!! btw, jay peak doesnt get 400" of snow, they get more like 320, which is more than SOME colorado resorts but most get more than that. i live on the east coast (in NH) and LOVE east coast skiing, glad to see you guys representing it well. i was curious what song is that?

  • dude they got 400 this year and 600 something a while back

but the usually get about 360 or so

  • no i am not...jay peak gets more snow than any resort in the bitch ass resorts in colorado, new mexico, montana... how does 400" sound? never gonna happen in fuckin aspen so no i am serious...the east smokes colorado!!!!

  • Revelstoke Mountain Resort in BC, Canada

    6100 ft Vertical

    40'-60' ft of snow

    or 480" to 720"

That mountain alone owns everything the east!

  • Ya your little Revelstoke Mountain has only gotten 226'' this year...so shut your fuckin mouth...Jay Peak..ya were rockin 26 ft. and im pretty sure we dont have to deal with payin $78 for a lift ticket either

  • Compared to 251" at Jay - hardly "26ft". You're also 'rocking' 385+acres while we're 'rocking' 3,000+acres....$30 more for a revy ticket and 30x more terrain + 3x the vertical. Worth the extra change.

  • FUCK the rockies ski the EAST!!!!

  • dude are you kidding

  • yo great video...where exactly in vermont and new hampshire were these filmed? How did u get thre?

  • come on.. you know... the 2 best places in the east big jay and tucks

  • Great job! Good to see folks representing the homebrew!

  • Great video, thanks for posting--it's great to see quality east coast videos. Are some of those shots from Landslide Gully in Crawford Notch?

  • i went skiing in N.H about two days ago it was awesome, i cant ski like you though lol

  • excellent fuckin video

  • HOLY SHIT! I'M THE DOOD AT THE END DIGGING MYSELF OUT OF THAT HOLE! hahahahahaha freaking awesome!!!

  • Loved the video. I did Big Jay myself along with many other lines in Vermont last year. Had an amazing season, I'd love to know what's available in Newfoundland...? I'm planning a trip there this winter and want to get as much info as I can before I go.

  • Thanks for the comment. Yeah, there were some really deep days last year in the Northern Greens. Send me a message with your email and I will send you all the info I know about skiing in Newfoundland.

  • never mind I found it!

  • Nice vid man, glad to see there's some good riding to be had out east! Whats the song? Its a good tune!
