Few people have loved hockey to the extent that he risked his life just to play one more time. Just going through the kind of surgery he did on his feet, which is supposed to be a very painful recovery, is as close to insane you could come.
It would be interesting to se how many points he scored while his teams being behind on the scoresheet. He wasn´t the best of the best, but he must have been the most complete player of all time.
The game is diffrent now than when Forsberg played, the d-men could do whatever they wanted. If Forsberg would have played in this era he would have been unstoppable, wich he was most of the time when he played. I think it was harder to dominate when Peter played then it is now, and still Peter was the best in the world in the early 2000:s
man if he only wouldntve been injured so much. Bet crosby and ovechkin couldnt touch him if it was his prime now. saw him play in swedens elite leageu this year after beeing sidelined for like 3 years and playing with broken ribs, foot and what not the few games he played and he racked up 30 points in 21 games i think and had the best ppg average in the league. Thats sum crazy shit right there.
@phreddy87 forsberg only scored in the 100 point mark twice in his career and his career high in goals is 32 and he only reached the 30 goal mark in his career twice.
Forsberg is overrated.
When Crosby's career is finished with the multitude of 100 point seasons and 40, 50 goal seasons are racked up.
There will be ppl like you clamoring how marvelous crosby was and some of his most dominant 1 on 1 shifts will be captured in 1 vid just like this.
@evanderlazer wow relax sorry for being a forsberg fan chill the fuck ut btw and he was injured for more thn half his career so all i said it wuldve been interesting if hed stay healthy like ovi and crosby cos i personally he think he culdve racked up similar points. i mean sure 110 p in 82 games is great but dnt forget when u score like what is it 95 points in 69 games its the same ppg average. obviously if ur healthy all the time ulll score 100 points seasons like ovi and crosby u smartass
@phreddy87 lol you fucking fool, No body, and I mean "NOBODY" gives flying fuck about "what if"
No one
Nada
Zilch
PPL only care about what has "actually" been accomplished. Forsberg was on pace fore so and so. But the cold hard facts and result is, is that he didn't, its his fault for not being good enough, it's his fault for trying to pass his ppg avg as elite, he never actually accomplished it though over 82 games a season.
Crosby, on the other hand has, and he has 4 100 pt seasons.
@phreddy87 Crosby is a a living legend as we speak. But most hockey fans in the generation won't soon realise it until he's retired and can reflect back on his career much like Forsberg, Yzerman, Sakic before him.
His legacy will be built up, his greatness and accomplishments.
What you think Forsberg always played like they showed in his clips? fuck no, I watched Forsberg and he was good but not that good, those shifts would happen every 3-5 games. You do the same for any other player also
@evanderlazer Like any other player in the world, he wasnt at his best in every game. But whenever there was an important match, he always brought his A-game.
But he was at his highest level over a longer time when playing for Sweden. I´ve never seen him off his game in the national team.

crosby and Ovi are both such ego, everything is about them and they think they could win without teammates!
Forsberg on the other hand was great, the best, but still he played for the team all the time, not for himself!
for example after first Olympic gold he got a question about the shootout goal, and he answered he did it that way because he is such a bad shot!
and after the second olympic gold medal he said it is great especially for the guys that didn't participated in 1994!
